Re: Firefox & IMDB.com Problem
We use a slightly different troubleshooting method here, because if another add-on has a conflict with NoScript, and you add back that add-on first, then yes, re-enabling NS will cause the issue, but NS gets the blame. Also, the profile itself may in fact be corrupted, but only show issues with cert...

Confirmed, on both Fx 18.0.2 and Fx 3.6.28,
I'll let Giorgio know. Thanks for reporting.

Re: Heads-up on new addon: Self-Destructing Cookies
@ GµårÐïåñ , Thanks for clearing up between tracking cookies (evil) and session cookies (useful when you want them). Yes, I want and expect a session cookie to be there until I close the browser, and if it needs to disappear earlier, it's just a few clicks to remove it even with default Fx and no sp...

Re: [Resolved] Whitelist functionality suggestion
Maybe still adding a Google search option to the information page could still be added in the future? IMHO, the sites at the Site Info page are suitable because they are all specifically geared toward evaluating site safety and reputation. Using https://startpgage.com or any other search engine cer...

Re: [Enhancement] Merge the lines "Temporary Allow" & "Allow
I've already tuned my settings in such ways, still I have to scroll on some sites and even if I don't have it often takes up too much space for my taste. My tweaks are slightly different, but yes, some sites are so garbaged up with so many scripts that the menu sometimes does scroll off the end of ...

Re: Heads-up on new addon: Self-Destructing Cookies
I never go to a valuable site (banking, etc.) without first closing the browser and restarting, then doing the same after the banking is completed. Should solve the issue of CSRF from other tabs, and IMHO is Best Practice for sensitive sites. I'd never trust any browser or add-on enough to do onlin...

Re: Broken after upgrade
In Firefox Options > Content , did someone accidentally uncheck " Enable JavaScript "? If not: Does the browser work if you create a clean profile , with no add-ons, and use that profile? If so, try installing NoScript to that profile, leaving all the defaults, and see if there are any pro...

Re: Noscript is causing router to issue a cookie
I am unsure as to whether the cookie is coming from the ISP or the router they have supplied me with. Ah, so it is not a router that you yourself bought and own. Mine (which I own) does not set cookies even when I login to the router's administrative interface. (It does, however, require allowing s...

Re: Heads-up on new addon: Self-Destructing Cookies
Just saw this on AMO up-and-coming extensions. It deletes cookies once they're no longer associated with an open tab, which sounds like quite a good idea for preventing CSRF etc, without needing to periodically restart the browser. I never go to a valuable site (banking, etc.) without first closing...

Re: CAPTCHA error when trying to post on 4chan
Hi, All of the sites you listed are allowed, but I still receive a captcha error upon typing it. Even when correct. I have two scripts blocked, would these two be the reason? quantserve and google-analytics. No. Those are advertisers and data-mining scripts, and NoScript runs a Surrogate Script whe...

Re: livefyre blog comments
Unable to reproduce, on Firefox 18.0.2, and for diagnostic purposes, on Fx 3.6.28. An extension conflict or corrupted profile is likely. Please create a clean profile from scratch. Install only NoScript, leaving all the defaults. Does the problem still exist? If not, NoScript is not the culprit. Try...

Re: Noscript is causing router to issue a cookie
When a connection is initiated, ABE checks for the IP address assigned by your ISP, so that it can do its main job of distinguishing "outside world" from "my local network and resources". I've never heard of an ISP setting a cookie merely because of that one-time check. Mine does...

Re: Bug logging out of yahoo mail on Firefox 18.0.2
Yahoo and a couple others have had ongoing problems with cross-site scripting vulnerabilities, repeatedly saying they're fixed, but then exploited in a slightly different form a few weeks later. See the story in the link at this post . It appears that NS may in fact be protecting you from another ge...

Re: NoScript 2.6.5.7 Corrupted
I'm getting a "Not Found" message, probably indicating that Mozilla removed the URL for that specific link.
I'll let Giorgio know, thanks.
