You might want to try an adblocker such as uBlock Origin. The developer for that one started on Chrome, so it's been ported to WebExtensions for a while. Or Adblock Plus should work.getting2old4this wrote: i just want to click a lock to allow or not, i dont know what the http green.red thing is at all,

Temporary Allow exists, it's just less obvious: click on the clock next to the permission setting.

Re: "Allow all this page" and "ABE Scripts" are gone
Giorgio is working on it, but unfortunately the old GUI is no longer possible in Firefox 57+. It's Mozilla's decision, not Giorgio's.bob wrote: No Script has been useful until now. Time to disable until somebody understands how poorly designed this new update is.

Re: Noscript 10 and siteinfo/shift-click feature
I suspect that that feature hasn't been ported yet, as there are higher priorities on the list. NoScript 10 is very much a work in progress.

Generally Giorgio prioritises NoScript higher since it's a security concern.Joe a User of FlashGot and NoScript wrote:or FlashGot, it's more priority than NoScript...

Well, that was the hope, but it's still a work in progress.

Re: Firefox 57 and NoScript
If you're after ad blocking, it's worth installing a WebExtension-compatible adblocker anyway, since NoScript actually blocks ads only as a side effect. From the top 10, Adblock Plus and uBlock Origin should work fine on Firefox 57.

Re: troll & reply - split from t=23173
I can't see any reason other than apathy since the ff57 build has been available for a considerable time. Don't blame developers for this. Firefox 57 builds may have been around in some fashion, but the APIs have not been adequate , even leaving aside the effort to actually rewrite the whole extens...

Re: WebExtensions limitations and their security impact
Basically, since extensions are no longer given any keys to the house, they have to set up on the lawn, with all the problems that implies.

Technically it's probably possible to whitelist *.com (particularly if you edit and import your whitelist), but it certainly will never be the default.

Re: Exclude irccloud.com
Bear in mind, there is no intention to have NoScript default-whitelist every site that needs JavaScript. Yes, lots of sites will be broken by default, and that's OK, you can choose for yourself which ones to un-break vs which ones you simply won't use. You use irccloud, great, you whitelist it. I do...

Re: Exclude mozilla.org
addons.mozilla.org is whitelisted by default. Why would everyone need the entire mozilla.org domain to work out of the box?

NoScript < 10 isn't expected to work with Firefox 57+. Please wait for version 10 (the pure WebExtension version) to post these bugs.
