Re: Persistent Citibank issue caused by NoScript

What solved my issue as described above was the following for each browser designated below: Firefox : I actually added the exact URL's that were having problems to the Anti-XSS exception list for the specific URL's causing issues, specifically "^https://online.citi.com/US/JPS/portal/Index.do&q...

Persistent Citibank issue caused by NoScript

I've narrowed down an issue that is directly caused by NS regarding the Citibank online website. Same problem occurs in both of these cases: 1) Pale Moon 26.1.1 (current build) using NS 2.9.0.9 2) Firefox 42.0.1 using NS 2.9.0.10 3) There are no problems with any browsers that do not use NS 4) This ...

Laura, I didn't see an answer to this question.

This works for me, the link you provided in this topic that you said you use did not work for me (didn't even reach the Dictionary.com website).

Re: µMatrix thread

Here's another tip regarding the pronunciation feature of Dictionary.com in regards to the Opera and Chrome browsers. What I've discovered in regards to Opera and Chrome is that unlike Pale Moon and Firefox (which does not require this) besides what is specifically required for the website to functi...

Re: µMatrix thread

Thought I'd post a tip regarding browser crashes as a result of what µMatrix is blocking: Anytime a Bing search is done that renders the large map positioned on the right side of the search page (which now uses virtualearth.net) then unless you allow (unblock) virtualearth.net in µMatrix both the Pa...

Re: Capital One 360 Login Blocked

FWIW, I have not had any problems logging into this same exact URL using the following: 1) Firefox 33.0.3 to 40.0.3 with NoScript 2.6.9.4 to 2.9.0.10 2) Pale Moon 25.8.1to 26.1.1 with NoScript 2.6.9.4 to 2.9.0.9 Considering that I have not upgraded past FF 40.0.3 (when I switched to PM as my default...

Re: Update to a version that is not current build?

Just back up your entire profile , it'll be easier to restore from that than NoScript's export. Thanks for the reply barbaz . By the way, have you been using postimage.org we had discussed (and I had tested a few things out for you)? Works pretty good huh? (nice way to save screen-shot images and n...

Re: Update to a version that is not current build?

^ I don't see an option to backup/restore in NS, do you mean "Export" so that if there are any problem I would then "Import" that file? If that's what you mean then there's not any problem doing an "Import" of that "Export" to NS in the event after an update s...

Update to a version that is not current build?

I have a question in consideration that I do not want the current 2.9.0.10 version but instead an older version, what would be the best (safest) way to update to a version that is not the current build released that being version Version 2.9.0.4? Would it be best to not remove the add-on to get the ...

Re: ublock question

No I hadn't tried any Filter List updates prior to updating the add-on version to 1.6.1 from version 1.5.5. I should have thought of doing that, so probably this is why the problem got resolved. As an afterthought, could it have been a combination of the uBlock version and the Pale Moon brows...

Re: ublock question

Problem solved. All I needed to do is update to current uBlock 1.6.1 :D Yahoo email works great now, now uBlock is not blocking all the necessary UI stuff and still blocks all the adds including the obnoxious ad embedded in the inbox UI. And fortunately the Webmail Ad Blocker 4.25.1 (most recent sti...

Re: ublock question

My problem is that add-ons like "Yahoo Mail Hide Ad Panel" does work or "Webmail Ad blocker" (presumably) will work as far as blocking the ads in Firefox including the embedded ad in the Yahoo inbox and will even expand to fill the empty space. The developers aren't interested in...

Re: ublock question

I'm not very good with using the logger. I'd have to trial-and-error as much as you. I'm pretty new to uBlock Origin. Try this custom "static" filter @@||yahoo.com^$elemhide If fixes the problem, remove that filter, and you know to look for logged entries of type "cosmetic", go ...

Re: ublock question

It's as if Yahoo has purposely gone out of their way to incorporate the important UI stuff at the top of the email page with the embedded ad so that ad blockers that are successful at blocking the imbedded ad will also get the important user interface stuff blocked as well. Thus a way to avoid ad bl...
