No luck still having done the customization as suggested by therube. I can confirm FG icon is not flashing in Youtube site.For other sites it is OK.

@therube , they are ticked. The FG icon is not appearing in you tube site only as it works on a different phenomenon there. For other sites the flashing icon does appear.

Win 7 x 64 FF 22.0 FG 1.5.5.6rc1. In youtube or any other site I am not getting the flashing icon anymore. Since I do not download frequently I am not too sure since when.. Any help welcome.

Strangely on clicking the placeholder for java or flash , permissions are granted rather than put up an alert of some "BLAH BLAH" Allow or cancel. I do not remember having changed any settings. Any help appreciated. Thanks....

So what is wrong with the snaps I posted. It surely ain't working in Firefox. Perhaps for thunderbird , iceweasel , greasemonkey though may belong to Mozilla family may be of different clans.

NS is disallowing the Google search box here despite allowing all except employmentapplicationsforally.asia . On a clean profile it loads well with NS disabled and NOT with allowing all in NS. 2. The only work around is using the "Blocked objects" submenu in order to allow *@http://l.ytimg.com.

Also a compulsory page refresh is required as therube says.
