Re: NoScript 10 Weird handling of TLDs & local domains?
Several weeks have now passed. There have been some more threads about wanting to trust *.cloudfront.net I wonder how blanket trusting all the subdomains of cloudfront.net might be a good idea, since anybody can store any kind of code there and each subdomain can be operated by a different entity (...

Glad you found it.

Re: No more preset checkboxes for global scopes?
Opening the Settings by clicking on NS toolbar button does not show any DEFAULT domains, just Temp. TRUSTED, TRUSTED, UNTRUSTED and CUSTOM. Clicking on each will reveal their own preset checkboxes. This slows me down considerably and puts more stain on my already hurting fingers. More scrolling dow...

Re: No more preset checkboxes for global scopes?
Due to complaints that it was too easy to change by accident, and too confusing that every row had the settings though it were presets: They can now only be accessed from the options screen. (for the default settings you have to set a already trusted domain back to default, open the settings, and th...

Re: NoScript and Wikis
These all "work fine" even with nothing trusted. I should say that I have my defaults set to "all checkmarks off" though. The "something interfered" message pops up when you allow "nocookie.net" but block some of the things that script checks for. As long as I...

Re: huffingtonpost videos not shown when Sanitize XSS
and of corse, disable sanitize XSS but I don't want to disable it globally.... it eventually started without touching the XSS options . I also didn't need twitter, nor instagram. What I did need was huffingtonpost.fr …ultimedia.com (which loads the player) …digiteka.net …jwpcdn.com (which together ...

Re: cannot get full site functionality
Hi, With some other sites I'm still having the same problems and also switch to other browsers. I did find a simple fix of NoScript > options > reset when I was having similar with Google Image Search, both in regular and private browsing mode (Mac with Firefox 57.0.3). The problem was that the thu...

Re: 10.1.6.1 x Reduced UI sizes in desktop version
Could you guys maybe post a screenshot that shows the relation between the rest of your UI and the NS UI? Because for me the size of the text is now roughly in line with all the other UI text that Firefox provides, where before it was double. It got shrunk, because it looked overly huge on some peop...

Re: NoScript and website detection. FIGHT BACK!!
Looked at PCgamer a bit closer. If you run NO scripts on the page, it doesn't redirect to begin with. And you can read the articles just fine. If you only allow …pcgamer.com you will get the error redirect. If you additionally allow http static.pcgamer.futurecdn . net the site works fine again. Basi...

10.1.6.2 Changes and behaviour (incl a bug).
Great. So now we can't change the default settings on domains that are already set to default any more. If you want to change them (*), you have to go to the options, which do not SHOW any default domains, then set a domain you already set to a rule for to default, then change the default settings, ...

Re: NoScript and website detection. FIGHT BACK!!
The website detect that the script isn't running. It probably has a portion of the script that "sends" something, and if it doesn't (because NS is preventing it from running), then the server sends you a different document. On many pages the issue can be circumvented by only running the sc...

Have you clicked on the clock that says "temporary allow" when you mouseover?

Re: Noscript is not saving preferences
It can be summarised as: ' I find the old UI better. The people who dislike it just didn't try hard enough to get it, and they are more vocal than the people who are fine with it. Therefore, I wish you wouldn't address the reported UI design problems ' WTH? NoScript is supposed to be accessible to ...

Re: Noscript is not saving preferences
That should imho by default OFF, or just make it a separated option; it is so tiny and hard to notice it was a button. It was that way in the first releases of the new NS, which then caused posts that went "all my rules are permanent, where are the temp rules" and "why do I have to c...

Re: Noscript is not saving preferences
After upgrading to the so called Firefox Quantum or 57, and Noscript has got a new interfaces, I found that many sites cannot have the preference saved, essentially resetting itself everytime I close firefox. For example, Mangastream is blocked every time firefox is started, and I have to allow it ...
