Re: anyone having trouble with FFDE Quantum & Gmail?
This is most likely related to the whole WebExtensions transition. It's probably best to wait on any Firefox 57-related bugs until NoScript 10 lands. (And yes, having a period of time where NoScript can't be properly supported is very far from ideal. Feel free to complain to Mozilla, but a million o...

Re: CSP Reports
uBlock Origin is a privacy tool. I imagine it's blocking reports to prevent sites from monitoring which resources you do or don't load. It's probably possible for a site to work out which ad blockers (if any) you have installed.
I don't think that there's any particular security benefit to this.

That depends on what level of control you want. uMatrix has its place.mooms wrote: uBlock can block (3rd party) scripts, no need to use uMatrix.

Re: NoScript Webext browser compatibility?
Do not expect all the features out-of-the-box, and many will be drastically revised (improved or lessened, depending on your taste and requirements). ABP faced a similar thing, apparently, having to drop features to get something in. And it's the #1 most popular extension by a huge margin, and NoSc...

Re: A major flaw
If you should ever happen to devise a method of efficiently and comprehensively analysing the behavior of an arbitrary piece of code, please ensure that you write up a full thesis on it, because its value to computing science would be incalculable. Of course, you may need to solve the halting proble...

Or you can think of them as separate locks on a door, one needing a key and the other needing a combination. Both need to be unlocked to open it.

Re: No Script and Bookmarks organizer in Firefox
Whether or not NoScript interferes will depend on how Bookmarks Organizer uses JavaScript.
If it uses a privileged context for its scripts, then there is no conflict. On the other hand, if it injects scripts into pages, then NoScript will block them if the site is blocked.

Re: Allow JS from a certain host only on one domain
I actually decided that uMatrix does 90+% of what I would want an ABE frontend to do, except better than I would build, so I stopped development.

Re: [RESOLVED] Youtube ABE only on youtube.com and 1 other s
I think that the problem with the original rule attempt (besides being overly complex) was that there was no ABE rule at all for ytimg.com, so it was unrestricted.

Re: ABE vs. Discord application
Depending on how Discord works, it might be cookies, might be site settings.
I'd actually suggest removing the ABE rule altogether (or commenting it out), then using it until it breaks again, at which point we can help make a rule as narrow as possible.
