Re: Where are the "appearance" settings stored?

They're stored both in the "usual" place (i.e. in the extension's privileged storage area) and in the DOM storage of the extension's origin. This redundancy has been implemented because the API to access the privileged storage is asynchronous, and therefore some flickering would be possibl...

Re: saved choises keep getting erased

First of all, thank you very much for having done your research before posting :) (even though cookies and cache managed from inside Firefox shouldn't affect extensions). You don't use CC Cleaner, but have you got any similar "security/privacy" software which claims to cleanup your online ...

Re: 11.4.13rc2 New placement of Cross-tab identity leak protection dialog

It turns out there was a miscalculation in the algorithm to fit the prompt's window to its content which actually caused it to jump up of something (more noticeable with lower resolutions). Fixed in latest development build , thank you. v 11.4.13rc3 ==================================================...

Re: Icon appearance setting inconsistency involving Private Window

In order to avoid flickering, the Implementation of themes uses the DOMStorage API, which is synchronous but is also compartmentalized like cookies (also for extensions windows) and therefore you end with different settings in private windows. I do consider it a bug but didn't prioritize it so far. ...

Re: 11.4.13rc2 New placement of Cross-tab identity leak protection dialog

Previously NoScript let Firefox center prompts automatically, which unfortunately in a multi-monitor setup meant they always went centered on the main screen, with no regard for the current browser window. This was a huge usability problem, for me at least, having to chase prompts across screens. Cu...

Re: Mouseover mouses under

This looks like a Win 7 specific bug (cannot reproduce on a Win 10 VM with Nightly).
Does it happen to other tooltips from extension popups?
Worth opening a MozBug bug, if they still support that OS.

I'll work out something (at least accessible and persistent preference switch for guest users) during the weekend.

We relocated and upgraded most of the web services.
This was an incompatibility with PHP 8.1, now fixed, thanks for reporting.

Re: Can't reply to a post: says my text is spam

The problem is with the subject, too many capitalized words. I've relaxed the filter a bit, it should work now.

"d a r k" is allowed, but 4 or more capitalized words in the subject is considered spam.
