1.9.9.05 Hides All HTML

Giorgio, what have you done? I updated from 1.9.9.01 to 1.9.9.05 and somewhere in there you made some kind of CSS error or something that makes it so that all the internet is hidden from view. If I hadn't had 1.9.9.01 saved as a backup, I'd have had to view-source: the 'previous versions' page at AM...

Re: critical bug!

Yeah it seems to be related. I was already pointed to that page by somebody else. Wanting to know if it was Shiretoko, narrow it down to a specific build(s) or if it really was just me, I posted this issue to Reddit. Several other people are having the same problem with images and adblock plus with ...

Re: Site somehow defeats flashgot detection of .swf

Flashgot has no problem finding other swf files from my experience. I download funny flash cartoons all the time.

Re: critical bug!

Well every other day or so I go to help > check for updates and it just says "there's an update available." fine, I update. But every once in a while it also says "it is highly recommended you install this update." That's what I was talking about. In fact only minutes before this...

Re: critical bug!

These nightly builds came with the extra message that they're highly recommended. I think that means this latest build has all the security issues and bugs fixed that Firefox 3.0.9 does.

Site somehow defeats flashgot detection of .swf

While discussing funny pirates, went to this link: m Flashgot doesn't detect the .swf file that's clearly visible in view-source: <html>... <head>... <link rel="video_src" href="http://70.85.109.171/albino_flash010/upskitcreek/usc3(www.albinoblacksheep.com).swf" /> ... <object ty...

No version of noscript has been compatible with FF 1.5 in quite a while.

Re: Force HTTPS not working properly

Are you using adblock plus?

NoScript runs as last policy.

If you're blocking things in facebook via adblock plus they get blocked before NoScript can get to them.

Also just "facebook.com" doesn't catch everything. It's best to try *.facebook.com. Also make sure to get *.fbcdn.net

Re: critical bug!

hackademix.net and flashgot.net seem fine. What extensions? adblock plus 1.0.2; Request Policy 0.5.5; ExExceptions 09.01.22.01; Tab Permissions 09.04.09.01; Host exceptions 09.01.18.01 Latest 2 nightly builds of Shiretoko. I right-click the images and "block images from noscript.net" is ch...

Re: Feature Request: block 30x redirects

You can also change the preference network.http.redirection-limit to 0 or 1. Anything worth using should only be implement at most 1 redirect. You'll need it at 1 or 2 to watch youtube videos. The default is 20, which I think is ridiculous. 20 redirects? Seriously, Mozilla? There are other extension...

critical bug!

All other extensions are stealthily being disabled on noscript.net and informaction.com ! This is in version 1.9.2 and this problem only exists as long as noscript is enabled.

WTF giorgio, WTF.

Re: 1.9.1.7 clash: greasemonkey & stylish

Yes, disabling NS resolves the issue. It's the only thing that does.

To further test these issues I always create a new defaulted/reset profile and install the two extensions I think are clashing. In this case, it came down to ns 1.9.1.7 that was the problem.

1.9.1.7 clash: greasemonkey & stylish

I just completed a standard diagnostic to determine that Noscript 1.9.1.7 has been causing me issues with the extensions Stylish and Greasemonkey, both of which are the latest versions themselves. When I try to open the "manage scripts" window with greasemonkey or "manage styles"...
