Re: Waterfox?

It's either my profile, which might have some minor corruption--almost entirely copied from my 52esr via the WF Profile Manager>New Profile--or it's some flakiness in WF itself. I'm finding that several logins don't work until two or three page reloads--very weird. Have looked through all of my exte...

Re: Waterfox?

What page were you on when you saw that? Wasn't on any particular page. If I recall correctly, was in the midst of testing a CSS for color of links visited, wth a search of "123"--left open for a minute or two while I was away doing something else at FF 59. But only link opened during that testing ...

[resolved/unrelated] Waterfox?

WF 56.0.4.1/Mac. Have been trying this out. But one thing that is a bit concerning is that, since I'm only trying it out, haven't yet set Little Snitch to allow all port 80/port 443 connections from WF, as I have with my 52esr or FF 59, I'm seeing any number of outgoing connections, almost all of wh...

Re: NS10 Surrogates

Hadn't played around with the location field there all that much until the recent onslaught of very bad weather in the northeast. Have finally stripped it down to its essentials. Can get that dropdown and change the location by allowing arcgis.com. Don't need the site font or WebGL, or even qualtric...

Re: NS10 Surrogates

No. If you allow it, the REAL script runs. Thanks, that's what I always thought was the case. NoScript should run its surrogate whenever the real script is blocked, no matter the reason. Good to know. Just to be clear, even if I allow it in Ghostery, if I don't allow it in NS, the surrogate will ru...

NS10 Surrogates

-Not seeing anything for noscript.surrogate in about:config in NS10 (10.1.6.5), which, if I'm not mistaken, must mean that surrogates have not yet been ported over from NS5. If this is the case, and if it is possible to use surrogates with WE, are there are any plans for this? -Another thing: just t...

Re: Bring back shift-click on script for NS10?

Thanks Giorgio for the workaround, which works perfectly. Was concerned it wouldn't last through a restart (browser), but it does. Very good to have this feature working again.

Re: Bring back shift-click on script for NS10?

Don't understand the silence. This is an almost indispensable feature (very tedious, next to impossible, to copy the urls of many scripts and then enter them, one by one, into VirusTotal.) I understand if it takes some time to investigate and hopefully fix. But please at least some response. Thanks.

No middle click on Mac. But this is what I get with left click. After hitting OK, nothing happens.

Bring back shift-click on script for NS10?

Unaware if this has been discussed already, but any plans to bring back the shift-click feature to see what VirusTotal etc. report for a specific script? Or is this now available by way of something other than shift-click? Very useful feature. Would love to see it restored.

What about this one? Only happened once. Blocked first time, next time no XSS popup. 10.1.6.4rc4

Re: 10.1.6.2 DEFAULT?

Spam filter is playing up (no idea why, not seeing anything objectionable, just copied the post) so can't post the information directly here. See second post from barbaz. Gives some basic idea. If this is correct, looks like font in preset is external fonts only. Suppose that means that site fonts a...

Re: 10.1.6.2 DEFAULT?

I may be getting the hang of the new UI--sort of--but one thing that I find puzzling is that in v.5 Blocked Objects would often appear with a number of different selections for font, the safest being the font, or fonts, generated by the site itself, external fonts being possibly suspect. But now wit...

Re: 10.1.6.2 DEFAULT?

Thanks, appreciate this and other information you and barbaz have provided. Tricky adapting to a new UI with new terms-definitions after all these years with NS.
