@mutik - I'm really digging your mockup!

It looks like it's meant to be built into Firefox itself. I really hope @Giorgio sees this because it would be a truly clever design choice.

Re: Suggestion for IU and elder People
The ui is hideous even for younger people but I'm glad you mentioned its problems from an accessibility perspective. I can't tell what Giorgio is thinking because he's put screenshots on noscript.net of the new UI as if it's what he likes. I've moved away from NoScript- maybe it'll be a different be...

Do you all see an X inside a circle in the thread title? If so, perhaps it's the one NoScript should use

Re: Block all videos from loading
Thank you, but I think I'm missing something obvious here. When you say click on an icon, these icons are options for individual websites, right? But I want to block all videos from all websites. Is that possible? The confusion is that Default, Trusted, and Untrusted are actually globally set- even...

Re: UI Feature Request - Classic
PS. Will explore utilizing builtin sidebar to display full NS options. I know web extensions API allows to use it somehow, but never wrote extension in my life so will take few days. My only concern is Firefox for Android wouldn't support sidebar functionality so it may result in more complexity. I...

Re: NoScript UI Design proposal
The other thing that's confusing is the add-on current behaves as if the checkbox next to Full Domains (www.noscript.net) on this screen was checked. I usually left it unchecked because I typically blocked at the base domain level and didn't get too granular to pick apart how much of a domain I want...

Re: NoScript UI Design proposals?
I've given this a few tries, but I am still totally confused. script object media frame font webgl fetch other The heck is a user supposed to do with all that? I think those various things are way too much for anyone to manage regularly. I think this may help explain the new options. Take a look at...

Re: NoScript UI Design proposals?
Ok. I updated the Google Sheet one last time. I think the first sheet in the Google Sheet makes the most sense. Broke out the customization of Default, Trusted, and untrusted to the Global Options screen so it reduces the tinkering of these settings. A lot of the questions we see are surrounding how...

Re: Block all videos from loading
click on an icon and underneath it should show options to uncheck for media, images, and frames. That's usually where those things reside. I mark all obvious third party sites as untrusted and that should take care of it as well.

Re: New options, UI
I'm not a fan of the hover over, personally. The icons are unintuitive (and an eyesore). My reasoning for not liking the hover-over descriptions is that you can't hover over on Firefox for Android. Then you're left with confusing icons to interpret.

Re: New Noscript Default Options
in the least, you'd want scripts to be unticked on the Default setting for NoScript to be called NoScript.

I like this mockup https://forums.informaction.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=23624&p=91735#p91561 ...but took it a bit differently and made a Google Sheet because I just wanted to get the general idea across on a scratchpad https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LaLc11lK1-ymV6g59KLP6wOTwC5brJ3K0...
