Re: (S) v10: issues with main window and new top menu button

Well, like I said it does happen to me too but much more briefly. The likely reason for your problem is that some async operation gets blocked for extended period, but the question is which and why? So... - Is there any special conditions when this happens (certain settings enabled, sites visited/en...

Re: (S) v10: issues with main window and new top menu button

The two "new" icons, that replace the "disable restrictions globally/for this tab" are just "enabled" counterparts for those icons. The smaller popup you see for a split second is the template for the popup that then gets initialized by some slow *** async javascript operations and acquires its comp...

Re: local hosts cannot be allowed

Actually, it looks like you CAN allow the no-dot domain from the popup. You just need to enable "full adresses" in the NoScript Options -> Appearance, and you should get the line with the full address in the popup. The line with empty domain column that does nothing is a bug though. @Giorgio: Looks ...

Re: local hosts cannot be allowed

It's not possible to add no-dot domains from the popup (except localhost). However, you should be able to add it in the NoScript Options -> Per-site Permissions.

I think this is the current behaviour: https://forums.informaction.com/viewtop ... =45#p95277

Re: Subdomains no longer an option in the menu

NoScript Options -> Appearance-tab -> check "List full addresses in the permissions popup"

Does that suffice?

Re: NoScript 10.1.8 conflicts with Twitter embedded timeline

FF 60
NS 10.1.8.1 & 10.1.8.2rc3

https://wet-boew.github.io/v4.0-ci/demo ... er-en.html

I tested with the example timeline above and it appeared to work. Does that timeline work for you or is the problem just with your own timeline? It does seem to load bit slow at times though.

Uh, not quite yet. Actually I don't even have credentials for Bugzilla yet, so if you don't mind doing the dirty work again... :)

Re: Problem after updating to Firefox 60

Well sh**. Looks like the culprit is the same bug as with the blank page not refreshing (https://forums.informaction.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=24752). Definitely not NS bug, as I can reproduce both problems with minimal test webextension: manifest.json: { "manifest_version": 2, "name": "Content CSS T...

Re: Dis/Enabling specific scripts on specific websites

Yes. If you have not allowed the site, NoScript will set CSP (Content-Security-Policy) directive script-src:'none'. This will prevent any and all scripts from running on the site, including inline scripts, on-event handlers and script-tags. You can check this for yourself by opening developer toolba...

Re: Dis/Enabling specific scripts on specific websites

My point as example: Assume site A.com that uses scripts from jwpcdn.com. You have allowed both and the scripts work for the site as expected. You go to site B.com, that also tries to use scripts from jwpcdn.com, but you have NOT allowed scripts for site B.com. Scripts from NEITHER B.com or jwpcdn.c...

Re: Dis/Enabling specific scripts on specific websites

If you set only "script" privilege for those domains, then it will only be javascript that you get from there (so yes, definitely javascript).

Do note that these scripts cannot run on any other page unless you have allowed scripts for that page.

I got the video playing after allowing these domains and privileges (in CUSTOM settings). cbssports.com script, frame cbssportspmd-a.akamaihd.net fetch sports.cbsimage.net script vidtech.cbsinteractive.com script imasdk.googleapis.com script Does that work for you or do you still get some error messa...

Re: (S) v10: needs to be reloaded to operate on website w/ P

I doubt the plugins work anymore except in 52, though last time used Adobe plugin was something like 15 years ago. :) And even if the plugins did work, NS could block them with the "object" option.

However, FF does offer option to open the PDF in external program.
