Re: Be able to login to bank

Thanks barbaz, that did the trick. :D These are things that the average user just won't know about as far as logic and syntax of these rules it seems to me. It would be nice to have this available to users in a more understandable way. Anyway, since I've been using the bank log-in and start-page for...

Re: Be able to login to bank

Thanks barbaz for the reply, that ABE rule didn't help, still get the same result. I've been using that start-page (start.me) for years with no problems and been able to use the same log-in page to Citibank as well. therube, start.me is a start-page portal: https://about.start.me/p/3xxOD3/about-star...

Be able to login to bank

I get the following now (after a very long time of successful logins) when I try to log-in to Citibank: http://s20.postimg.org/lq5e2vact/No_Script_ABE_deny.png I have had this set in ABE for a long time and has worked: [ screenshot hidden by moderator ] and I have this in XSS: http://s20.postimg.org...

Re: µMatrix thread

I wasn't using that log-in page (I don't like using a banks "advertising" [marketing] log-in page so to speak). I always find the direct log-in link to banks which is all the URL does as opposed to using the marketing log-in pages that banks tend to use of which is the easiest to find via...

Re: µMatrix thread

Or, alternatively, you can just allow all requests from www.chase.com to secure.chasecdn.com, as soon as uMatrix displays an image request. Or add a rule directly in the uMatrix dashboard (chrome://umatrix/content/dashboard.html) I wasn't using that log-in page (I don't like using a banks "adv...

Re: Chase Bank website Login

The new Chase Bank website upgrade requires µMatrix to first be "disabled" (upper left of µMatrix interface "toolbar") to get the website to work because the requests needed to be unlocked (secure.chasecdn.com for "script" & "XHR") will not be displayed by...

Re: Very odd QUESTION for NoScript experts

Thanks barbaz for the heads up regarding what a "lonely" caret the way I had it will end up doing. So by doing the following I've resolved the problem since as of now the website works okay without all the hanging and the strange code prompt I was getting no longer pops-up. Of course all I...

[RESOLVED] Very odd QUESTION for NoScript experts

I've got a very odd question for NoScript experts to answer. I was making changes and noticed the lone caret I had in the XSS exceptions list in NoScript and thinking that I had mistakenly left it there I removed it a couple of days ago. Since then my Citibank website returned to the error it was ha...

Re: firefox citi.com problems

gmon , I would like to add to my post above a word of advice, rather than using exactly the format (concept not necessarily specifics) that I posted regarding XSS exception formating you would use if you so decided to do so it would be imperative that you follow the concepts posted by barbaz at the...

Re: Persistent Citibank issue caused by NoScript

Common sense tells me that the XSS is bypassed for all website URL's that will specifically match this "^https://online.citi.com/US/JPS/portal/Index.do". Am I right? Yes, XSS is bypassed for all requests to URLs matching that pattern. But, it matches *any* source - meaning any site could ...

Re: firefox citi.com problems

Thankyou lakrsrool for all your detailed help, I added those sites to the whitelist, went to citi.com, logged in and ran into even more trouble, on the account detail page I had to allow two more sites, one was adlight, the other I don't know because it all locked up again, I waited till the window...

Re: firefox citi.com problems

barbaz, this is what the NoScript right-click gives me:
-atdmt.com
+ensighten.com
+google.com
+bridgetrack.com
+omtrdc.net
+citi.com

Looks a little different than yours, obviously showing what I've allowed "+" and what I have not allowed "-".

Re: Persistent Citibank issue caused by NoScript

Thanks barbaz for the reply. I have to say, based on what your saying NoScript is about the most counter-intuitive process I can thing of. This is the way I see it from an intuitive (logical) concep. 1) ^https://roll\.bankofamerica\.com/.* The above example (which I've used for BofA and posted a dis...

Re: firefox citi.com problems

The insane SPAM filtering they do on this board blocked my link in the post above so I'm posting here instead what I wanted to add to my post above. (obviously there is no SPAM issue as I'm able to post the same thing here (it would be nice if they looked into fixing this annoyance as this is the ON...
