Re: Bugs in "Disable restrictions for this tab"

... you very much, that's very interesting. Actually using asyncrhonous XHR was something I was keeping as a last resort since my first attempts to a Chromium porting, and my original idea was trying to redirect to a data: URI, since filterResponseData() is Firefox-only. Did you try something like ...

Re: CHROME: NoScript forgetting imported sites after restart

I signed up to say I'm experiencing this also. My import works fine and is remembered in Firefox and Opera but not Chromium. I have the VAAPI-patched chromium-dev from Saircot895's PPA. Ubuntu Budgie 19.04 (5.2.0-9.1-liquorix-amd64) Chromium 77.0.3860.5 (Developer Build) Ubuntu ...

Re: Microsoft to replace Edge with a Chromium-based browser?

Blink (& if by that you mean "Chrome", Chromium... [Google]) owns the browser market (& everything else). People already ONLY build for it. FF is no longer in the equation (& there is nothing else). If FF happens to work, so be it. If it does ...

Re: Microsoft to replace Edge with a Chromium-based browser?

Blink is going to become the new IE, trust me. It has become more and more niche and people "building FOR IT" which is what they did in the old days with IE, mark my words, this will blow up like every other and Firefox being stupid enough to go along is probably the worst part of all this. In about...

Re: Options screen not working

Should NOT be a problem, unless this is a lie in the Chrome store: Looks like it is a lie. I tried installing NoScript in Chromium 50.0.2661.0, and it's totally DOA, including in exactly the way you describe. Probably Giorgio needs to determine and set the minimum chrome version in ...

Re: Options screen not working

Slimjet is not a supported browser, and Chrome 50 based is rather old (I assume you posted from your Slimjet). Does it work for you on a current version of Chromium or Chrome?

Re: Enabling First Party Isolation DELETED some of my extension data!!!!

... I think I figured this error out. It's a µMatrix bug - https://github.com/gorhill/uMatrix/blob/3da449b8a47f7c1ccd8421b50e5f31681ca6f4c7/platform/chromium/vapi-background.js#L593-L595 https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Add-ons/WebExtensions/API/cookies/getAll Oh, an issue is already ...

... box then you were allowed to install an extension "from outside the store ", by pointing to the directory (Been some time since I opened Chromium/Edge, though I just happened to open both, this morning.) Thanks for the response, though, @therube, really is much appreciated! :-)

Re: Edge - Dev Canary / Chromium Support

It's OK, I'm a total idiot. I just saw this in the bottom left of the Extensions window: https://i.postimg.cc/PJgphsNV/New-Picture-1.jpg That's at postimg, btw, couldn't link due to spam filter. Went to the chrome store, and it installed in seconds on both Dev and Canary.

[Resolved] Edge - Dev Canary / Chromium Support

Hello! Purely a quick enquiry relating to topic https://forums.informaction.com/viewtopic.php?t=25325 on the forum. Will there be a port to Edge Chromium ? Or should we just wait for a 'allow chrome / chrome-store extensions' functionality like I've done with Opera? Asking for a friend (professional ...

... still is not feature-complete compared to NoScript Classic. Chrome extensions are even more limited than Firefox WebExtensions, so NoScript for Chromium makes additional compromises on top of that - https://forums.informaction.com/viewtopic.php?p=99880#p99880

Re: Noscript for Google Chrome?

The information in this 2014 thread is essentially obsolete now, so I'm locking this to avoid further confusion.

Current information about NoScript on Chromium is available e.g. viewtopic.php?p=99880#p99880 or try searching the forums for "chromium".

NoScript for Chrome? (split from t=1676)

As you might know, NoScript is now available on Chrome . After following this thread for years, I wanted to know what changed. Did Chromium make changes to allow more of NoScript's features to be implemented? Were there some compromises made for the Chrome version? How has NoScript adapted ...
