Re: ABE ruleset editor?
In Windows, if you click on an unknown file type (which an .abe is initially), you are prompted for the application to use to open it with. (Win32pad in my case.) You can then save that as the default handler. (There are no settings within SeaMonkey Preferences pert...

Re: ABE ruleset editor?
I don't know where or how the mime-type application/x-abe-rules would have been introduced into any of the Linux or GNOME mime types (yet) .. but yeah, I thought of looking under the helper applications too (I'm running Seamonkey btw, 2.0.9 now) ... I suppose its possible that a Wine install somehow...

Re: ABE ruleset editor?
Not sure as of when, but (even latest NoScript version) at some point the Edit button on the ABE options menu stopped launching the given SYSTEM or USER rules in the editor previously configured with the noscript.abe.editor preference. Instead of pulling up (on Linux) /usr/bin/gvim (or even just gvi...

Re: Difference between 1.10 & 2.0rc2 ?
Hi rube, thanks for the response/opinions... which I almost fully agree with on all counts.. My partner here uses Seamoney 2.x here and it's also the browser that I recommend everone else use. My experience/observations with it (being more like FF) aside from being potentially bloatish and too-GUI-w...

Re: Difference between 1.10 & 2.0rc2 ?
First, a comment/opinion: End of life browsers and NoScript not supporting them as always now (save for security related, etc) is very sad. IMHO, the Mozilla (Seamonkey) suite prior to the newer 2.x versions were far superior and safer. They should still support and release Seamonkey 1.1.xx versions...

noscript/getit page links to flashgot. not NS
Like the topic says.. noscript.net/getit direct download links are currently linked to the flashgot .xpi downloads and also shows the flashgot development build changelog and xpi instead of noscript
an oversight, of course..

Re: mail from forum coming in with bogus HELO
This topic/thread was very helpful by the way... as in, pointers to what IP space should be known for allowing people to properly modify any black/white lists or firewall rules on their servers or PC's to allow signup/forum related communication to be all groovy and kosher. Also, even though this pa...
