I am using Mipony download manger which is not supported officially by flashgot but you can use it from command line, so it should be working with flashgot. I don't know have noticed one new excellent download manger, is called DownTango (http://downtango.com/)?
It has some really good features and decent popularity considering that is new app.
Could you please consider adding support for this download manager?
