Re: ABE prevents local links
Do you have some sort of deployment software for all your corporate machines? IT handles it. Further investigation shows that that machine does not have an IPv4 address for some reason, only IPv6. ABE prevents local links
When trying to click on links from a Tomcat page on a computer on the local network, I get the following: [ABE] < LOCAL> Deny on {GET http://ComputerName:8080/manager/status <<< http://ComputerName:8080/ - 6} SYSTEM rule: Site LOCAL Accept from LOCAL Deny Where "ComputerName" is a machine ...

Re: Surrogates break GreaseMonkey userscript.
It turns out that for some reason some of my surrogates were different from the default ones. I am pretty sure that I did not change them myself (I am not a JS coder).
Is there a way to reset them (but not the other settings) to the default scripts?

Thank you, it works!
What are the consequences of doing it, if any?

Surrogates break GreaseMonkey userscript.
There is a very useful GreaseMonkey userscript called "Direct Links for Pages and Images" ( here ). Unfortunately, the Noscript surrogates break its functionality. Steps to reproduce: 1. Install Noscript, GreaseMonkey and "Direct Links for Pages and Images" (https://greasyfork.or...

Re: Prevent Flashgot from automatically downloading images?
Today I had JDownloader2 running and downloading some files (I have it configured as my download manager if Flashgot) while I was browsing some forums, when I noticed a significant slowdown of Firefox. Turned out, JD2 was downloading thousands of images from those forums in the background. The only ...

Prevent Flashgot from automatically downloading images?
Sometimes Flashgot automatically downloads images from a page without me asking it to do it. This happens when I have the configured download manager (JDownload2) running. It happens consistently when I write HTML code with links to images in UltraEdit and then tell it to display it in the browser. ...
