I've used Amazon for years with NoScript / Chrome without a problem
Today Amazon is broken unless I completely disable Noscript. The cart page refreshes in an endless loop making checkout impossible.

I ultimately got NoScript working by copying it from the profile of another computer that had successfully upgraded to Firefox 46 AND was already successfully running the latest NoScript extension.

I don't know a lot about the details of developing firefox extensions, but I'm wondering if it has to run in the page context in order to have information from the page (like the URL and any text I've selected on the page).

I use the Google Shortcuts extension. Sometimes I use it to gmail a page. Normally it pops open a new gmail window with the URL of the page along with any selected text in the new message body. However, it doesn't work (won't pop open gmail window) on pages/domains for which I haven't allowed script...
