Re: Blocking images for untrusted sites
Aha, You don't understand me. Or rather I'm not clear enough. :) Forget the "trusted" notion, just imagine Script and images were the same thing in Noscript. So, if you whitelist some sites, it would allow script + images. For now, I use RP to block external content (including images + scr...

Re: Blocking images for untrusted sites
What collision? For example, if you have AB+ and Noscript installed, if you block some stuff with Noscript, AB+ will not show the same thing each time: sometimes it will show some stuff blocked by Noscript, sometimes it won't. It's the same with Flashblock and AB+ for example. Using 2 extensions fo...

Re: Blocking images for untrusted sites
I tend to visit mostly the same sites, except when doing user support. I think a lot of users (including me) go on new sites everyday for any reason... Of course, there are favorite sites you go more often, but it's impossible to say you visit the same sites everyday. So the image blocks are alread...

Re: Blocking images for untrusted sites
Thanks for the answer, but it's clearly not a usable solution. I like the concept of Noscript or Request Policy with their "trusted" sites (or whitelist). By default, I trust the domain I'm on, then I allow other sites content thanks to an accessible whitelist. Do you think Giorgio could b...

Re: Blocking images for untrusted sites
So to summarize, what I ask is a feature actually not implemented, even in the advanced module ABE. Isn't it ?
Personally, I'd like it not to be in ABE, since it is a module for advanced users, and what I ask is, I think, a common feature.

Re: Blocking images for untrusted sites
Thanks for that link, but I don't feel like decrypting all your thread right now. Maybe later if I don't have another answer.
But thank you for that hint.

Blocking images for untrusted sites
Hello, Noscript has so much features, and it's a long time I did not touch it. I like the fact you can block all "embed" content with placeholder, even for whitelisted sites. But I miss one thing: I can't block images for "untrusted" sites. It would be cool to have a placeholder ...

Re: AB+ blockable element displays scripts whereas blocked b
Indeed this key remembers me something. But alas it does not work as you though. I think Wladimir made something in order to fix Flashblock incompatibility some time ago, and now AB+ is always the first dealing with content filtering. For me, it should be, in order: Noscript, then Flashblock, then A...

AB+ blockable element displays scripts whereas blocked by NS
Hello, I'm sure Giorgio once told me to play with a key in about:config but I can't find it again, and Google is useless since the only things I find when searching for AB+ and noscript is the infamous regrettable story... For those who don't understand, I'd like "AB+ blockable items list"...

Re: Latest Firefox build crashes with latest NoScript
Hello, ok, you'll accuse me of trolling, but Noscript has so much options than a lot of them are unknown for the majority of users (like me). Why should we reenable noscript.toStaticHTML and noscript.surrogate.enabled later if Noscript works without them ? Even after all these years, I sti...

Re: Need NoScript like never before....
I'm proud of this off-topic. (but you can split it !) I don't use antivirus/antimalware/HIPS/firewall/etc. But sometimes I read some news about it. I can't give you links, since it's french, but Avast has been seriously criticized (by several sites). In contrast, AntiVir receives positive ...
