Re: [10] Taskbar Icons r Reordered on open from Session Rest
I spoke poorly. My NS toolbar icons are stable. I don't use them on the taskbar.

Re: Icons missing in NS Classic
Earlier today while eating one of my meals I watched a Twilight Zone. I think that what happened so far might qualify for an episode of it too. I started performing more experiments, disabling blocks of extensions, restarts... and nothing appeared to be happening. A couple of the restarts were disc...

Re: Icons missing in NS Classic
It took a while to get back and the findings were mostly a failure. Here are the results: PM: No buttons to be found. Seamonkey: Yes! All 3 classic buttons work. FF: First I grabbed a 60 ESR and it wasn't able to do it. Then after considerable searching I finally found a 52 ESR and redownloaded a N...

Icons missing in NS Classic
OK, I have done some reading and found a number of interesting things since I have been away for a while. I did some searches and came up empty on my specifics. There was lots of interesting information- just not this situation. I running Pale Moon 28.2.2 (64 bit) and for a long time I stuck with N...

Re: Classic NoScript installation workaround for Pale Moon
I didn't modify a thing. Maybe it had something to do with something else such as updating another version??? I am also editing this to say that maybe someday when I have time I might download Quantum and experiment with it. I tend to download and test just about every browser out there at least fo...

Classic NoScript installation workaround for Pale Moon
Hi, I want to a long delayed update of NS for Pale Moon (28.2.2(64 bit)) and when I went to the link it opens up the install tab and then displays a message claiming that it cannot install because of signing. I went into about:config and the xpi signature boolean was already set to false. I then we...

Re: Freezing pc and looping when loading sites
The first site had too many scripts and XSSes to configure for me. Plus most needed translation and figuring out marketing and tracking jargon is difficult enough in English. After getting the main ones configured I got no sign of freezes at all. Still, you may want to check out it's WOT ratings. (...

Re: Future of NoScript? Can it survive this?
The Verge link came up broken- but it is clear that you- along with the rest of us are horrified at what they plan to do. They announced it as if they would be able to incorporate a few Chrome extensions- a browser with a much smaller catalog. In reality it means they are going to completely nuke t...

Re: Double listing question:
I'm not sure, but if you remove one of them, it breaks. Probably it's just part of how the site name is being parsed by the server. C'est la vie. Part of why I am asking is I do configurations like crazy. Many times I will middle click to bring up a site/script and choose from the services and see ...

Double listing question:
I don't believe that the question has been asked previously. When we hit the button to look up scripts it lists them twice and then a semicolon. This isn't a criticism. I was just wondering if there is a technical reason for why the site is listed twice.

Re: [Invalid] Multiple issues
Now here is a brief explanation for the QJ settings: What you are seeing on the toolbars is: Java (commonly confused for javascript) set to almost never activate . Flash to be toggled regularly . Then CSS , images and animation almost always on . Not shown: Javascript : Obviously better handled by ...

Re: [Invalid] Multiple issues
Re: [Invalid] Multiple issues Alright, I am going to attempt this without my signature color for a post to see if that helps with the filters. Anyways, I currently have the latest of 2.0.4.1- but it appears that it may be time to experiment and install backwards versions one-by-one and see if any hi...

Re: Multiple issues
OK, I think that I have it figured out. As I earlier indicated that long extension list had been stable for a long time and I had successfully cloned it many times. What I think happened is the last version of QJ came long after everything had been set up. Then, the newer versions added more option...

Re: Multiple issues
WOW!!! OK, I have no explanation for what it just did. Upon the next restart things are behaving normally. Beyond the initial toggling of it's javascript before the first restart I changed no settings- but after the second restart it appears that the culprit indeed was QuickJava. I am testing out a...
