Re: [BUG] Temporarily set top-level sites to TRUSTED glitch

Now, in the NoScript Options page, "Disable restrictions globally (dangerous)" has a corresponding (option to) "Restore restrictions on browser restart" & that would then reset a "Disable restrictions globally" - on a browser restart. But the, "Temporarily set ...

Re: [BUG] Temporarily set top-level sites to TRUSTED glitch

"Temp TRUSTED" should be canceled when the browser restarts.Isn't it? "Temp. TRUSTED", when you "Temp. TRUSTED" a site using the NoScript dropdown icon is cancelled on a browser restart (as the setting was only, temporary). "Temporarily set top-level sites to TRUS...

Re: [BUG] Temporarily set top-level sites to TRUSTED glitch

maybe it should be changed to "Automatically set top-level sites to Temp. TRUSTED"? To me, that would make it sound like it is "Temp." trusted, as in since it is "Temp", at some point, like with a browser restart, one would then expect that since it was "Temp"...

Re: [BUG] Temporarily set top-level sites to TRUSTED glitch

Isn't NoScript 11.4, Temporarily set top-level sites to TRUSTED going to be exactly the same as NoScript 5.1, Temporarily allow top-level sites by default both of which are blanket trusts (for the "top-level" site), set in a global fashion, & are expected to persist a browser restart. ...

Re: Google Chrome will soon no longer support NoScipt

Does this concern NS too?
Sounds like, & assuming it works, & until Chrome nixes it, it should apply to any extension, so NoScript included.

Re: No website is loading after a while

(An old thread that related to Windows 7 (not what the OP is using), Firefox stops loading pages until NoScript disabled or Firefox restarted , that might provide some clues as to what to look for; like if https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/ happens to still load, or if you may have gotten a &...

Re: NoScript breaks HTTP requests

I'll just note that one of the changes in 129 (in case it may have some bearing?) was:
HTTPS is replacing HTTP as the default protocol in the address bar on non-local sites. If a site is not available via HTTPS, Firefox will fall back to HTTP.

11.4.32rc1 breaks meta refresh on script-disabled pages

Might 11.4.32rc1 be breaking things in a Private Window? [or more?] FF 115 ESR google.com is set to Default (in NoScript, so, disabled) gstatic.com is left at its default, Trusted Today, having issues with Google Search not showing search results. Pretty sure ?? that happened in both regular & P...

Re: Enable JavaScript while keeping NoScript active

You could

NoScript | Options | General -> Temporarily set top-level sites to TRUSTED

which might help some.

Otherwise, sounds like you'd want something that worked on a blacklist basis (where NoScript is based on a whitelist basis).

Re: (i)frame placeholders

Still can't get it to work? In NoScript 2.9.0.12, Embeddings, Forbid <*FRAME>. Right? Any other settings needed in NoScript. And SM 2.38. And yet I'm not getting placeholders? Your screenshot sure seems to indicate that the placeholders are from NoScript. (BTW, SM 2.38 isn't liking much SSL, I guess...

Re: (i)frame placeholders

(I wasn't looking for an frame at the picture itself, but rather the 2 sides.) SeaMonkey + NS 2.9.0.12 Oh, that's interesting. What version of SeaMonkey? 2.9.0.14 won't even run in current SM. (Installs, but doesn't work. Maybe could be "fixed", but...) In current SeaMonkey 2.53.20 beta 1 ...
