Re: How to troubleshoot intermittent randomly blocking allowed media?
Maybe this has some meaning, "// throwing may cause src not to be assigned at all:" ? Anyhow, you could throw some debugging code into media.js & that might point out what is going on? And of course, you'd have to do that in a FF Nightly (or where ever an unsigned extension might be al...

Re: do you realy need donations?
4 different focused development efforts ? Oh, so like adding support for Chrome(ium) & the like & other changes over time. Heh. Their "We wrote about it" & "Funding to date" are hardly in a logical order: March 2019, January 2019, August 2019... 2016, 2020, 2014, 210...

Re: new loading like to Youtube
Oh, & YT is becoming more & more anti-blocking.
So maybe that message is being generated due to some other blocker you may have installed (like uBlock Origin) rather then due to NoScript? So test that avenue.

Firefox users may import Chrome extensions now
Firefox users may import Chrome extensions now Big deal. Who cares. Better question, though, is, why? They take everything away from you, because it's "complex" & "telemetry" says no one uses it. And they're looking to implement "extension importation"? You know, b...

Re: Firefox stops loading pages until NoScript disabled or Firefox restarted
Now on 102.12.0esr Now on "ESR" - because I'm on Win7, & 115 ESR will be the final FF version to support Win7. That said, the reason I likely ran into this again, is that when I dropped Nightly, I went to the (then current) ESR, 102. (And in the 102 era, this bug still existed.) Theor...

Re: [RESOLVED] Firefox stops loading pages until NoScript disabled or Firefox restarted
DRATS! It's returned. Now on 102.12.0esr (cause I'm on Win7 [with FF dropping support for 7, & nightly no longer updating, & being "iffy" if you manually update]). Oh. When I put in ESR, I started with a new Profile, made my typical (anti-spying-like) changes, & only copied bac...

Why aren’t my add-ons working on some websites?
mozillazine: addons-restricted-domains Huh? mozilla: Why aren’t my add-ons working on some websites? Certain Firefox users may come across a desktop notification indicating that their add-ons have been disabled for particular websites. In Firefox versions 113, 114 and ESR, we have introduced a syste...

[NoScript Classic] NoScript makes Pale Moon crash opening MP4 pages
This is NoScript classic (so posting here). Take from it what you will... This affects Pale Moon (as of PM 32.2.0.) (SeaMonkey is NOT affected.) NoScript makes Pale Moon crash opening MP4 pages 32.2.0 Crash on MP4 in Windows 7 Note that PM is/has always been hostile to NoScript. Nonetheless, looks l...

How malicious extensions hide running arbitrary code
palant: How malicious extensions hide running arbitrary code Two days ago I wrote about the malicious extensions I discovered in Chrome Web Store. At some point this article got noticed by Avast. Once their team confirmed my findings, Google finally reacted and started removing these extensions. Out...
