Re: Will there be a NoScript Chrome specific board?

My only thought would be that the issue looks to be Chrome specific.

Tobin's Take on Waterfox (ESR68)

Waterfox has Jumped the Shark It seems that SeaMonkey will be seeing a 2.53 (akin to FF 56) Release (probably). (2.53 builds are available now, have been available if you want to try. Really nothing earth shattering compared to 2.49 IMO [which is good actually, if you want consistency]. But it is n...

Will there be a NoScript Chrome specific board?

Will there be a NoScript Chrome specific board? Then I could say something like... URL: https:// www .streamlive.to/view/68969/ABC-%28SD%29 (Purposely broken, cause its a crap site, so don't visit without NoScript ;-).) Allow streamlive.to After that, most attempts to allow (anything while one that ...

Re: [10] Taskbar Icons r Reordered on open from Session Restore

(With a quick look) Chromium does not appear to be affected by this - neither natively, nor in conjuction with NoScript. Nor does (individual) closure of multiple Windows result in unexpected windows reopening upon opening from "session restore". (BTW, I can open/close/open/close... Chrome, lickety ...

In FF Quantum, NoScript 10, no.

In earlier Mozilla, NoScript 5 or earlier, yes.

Re: Parity Begets Final Demise

Extensions are not enabled in Chromium in a Private Window :o (by default).
But can be enabled (on a per extension basis).

Re: Parity Begets Final Demise

(About the only thing missing would be FlashGot ;-).) https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/bulk-media-downloader/ (It can interface with external applications, so presumably my download manager ? but needs some kind of "shim" to do so, https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/external-ap...

Re: Major browsers to block some plain-HTTP downloads on HTTPS sites

Well, that would be one way to put a dent in your competition, wouldn't it. (Not that basilisk, or anyone out there, is competition to Google.) Safer? Less convenient, that is for sure. Suppose you wanted to do something like download basilisk from within Chrome ;-). It will force basilisk & all oth...

Parity Begets Final Demise

Parity Begets Final Demise Now that extension parity exists (now that NoScript can be used) between Firefox & (in) Chrome, just what purpose is left for Firefox? Why would one chose Firefox over Chrome? Oh, that's right: open inclusive shared expressive collaborative private safe personalized transp...

Re: NoScript Webext browser compatibility?

1. "regular" .xpi should work just as well, I'd think 2. 3. 4. is what i had tried yesterday, that didn't work And still not now? Failed to load extension File: C:\chromium\NOS Error: Required value 'version' is missing or invalid. It must be between 1-4 dot-separated integers each between 0 and 655...

Re: NoScript Webext browser compatibility?

current version of Chrome is 73 and I have downloaded Chromium
OK, how do you "install" NoScript into Chromium?

(Earlier, with ancient Chrome, I think I did though some "store", but with Chromium NoScript isn't even seen ? & not even sure if Chromium can install from Chrome "store"?)

Re: NoScript Webext browser compatibility?

(Oh, I agree. See the : wink : , above.
Figured that since I had happened to open Chrome, old as it is, I'd throw NoScript at it & see what happened.)
