Re: Cannot find about:config info in latest build of Firefox?

(I wasn't aware that NoScript 10 couldn't do that. Though I believe that on one update, it did it on extension update install. At least it appeared to, & I thought to myself, I wish it hadn't ;-).)

What version of NoScript?
Where are you getting it from?
What is the exact message that you are getting?

Re: mozillaZine shutting down?

Yes, I'm well aware of who mozillaZine is. But that's not the point. The point is, that when Mozilla kills itself, it also kills everything related to itself. So itself, community (including mozillaZine, extension developers, ...), & users. (And yes, I'm also well aware that the demise of mozillaZin...

Re: mozillaZine shutting down?

Don't you see.
It's all part of Mozilla's grand plan.

Make the browser irrelevant.
Make the community irrelevant.
Make the user irrelevant.

mozillaZine was not a great place, it was the only place conducive to real discussion, Mozilla.

Re: Testers Wanted: NoScript UX Overhaul by Simply Secure

Oh wow, my head is spinning. I literally couldn't finish reading through the examples. red & green & black & blue & gray checkmarks & underlines & dots tabs & all & site dropdowns hieroglyphics The "main" icon, & "good luck", seem amateurish & silly, not that that really matters. Would something lik...

Re: Firefox new version updates will be more frequent in 2020

Security updates can always be handled with a dot release, as is the case currently (like with 69.0.1 ). There is nothing to be gained by going to a yet more rabid release policy. What there is now is bad enough. No stability. No consistency. And they're going to go even faster! Faster, much like Qu...

Re: Videos leaking through NoScript?

No issue here.
No video plays.

As a test, create a new, clean Profile.
Install only NoScript.
Visit your site.

Video play?

Re: NoScript prevents FF from shutting down properly

(backup first) Mozilla does not support "downgrade" routes. Not sure why you're using 60.7.2esr when 60.9.0esr exists (perhaps not in your distro?)? Might look into creating a new, clean Profile, then migrating wanted data from old to new? (Then install extensions...) Or removing, then reinstalling ...

BS.
Nothing more need be said.

Well, might just say that everything they said is utter BS (not even "fake news"), is the total opposite of what they stated.
They throw out drek, knowingly, "because they have a schedule" to adhere to.
What a joke.

Re: Sandboxie is now free software

I've mostly* used their free version. *Mostly. A number of years back, someone posted a key in their forums, with the post made out to be that it was legit, & from Sandboxie. Turns out it was not. Once I realized that, I reported it to Sandboxie. Never heard from them. But the post, key, shortly dis...

Re: Bookmarklet to remove text after ?

In the sample, questionmark_test.html, yes. But elsewhere it can be useful. Could be anything tacked on the end of a url. Might force a download, where you'd rather not, ?download. Might set a particular time (in playback of a clip) ?t=60 (i.e. start at the 60 second mark). Might contain tracking in...
