Mark as Untrusted doesn't appear as option

Even though it's ticked off in options 64-bit W7, last couple versions of NS FF 17.0.1

Cross-site filtering with Verizon Wireless

https://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/index.html Get that error message at the top, have the latest versions of FF and NS. Saw an older thread about Verizon Wireless but the URLs on the Console looked different. Any answers for now? (besides using Safari?) :( (Don't know how to set up whitelist except...

Re: Connecting while riding Amtrak

(and I know that NS often plays a role in connectivity.) May I ask where you got that idea? Connectivity to the (wireless) Internet access point is dependent on a sufficiently strong signal and the ability to receive it. (and the permission of the access point). NoScript has nothing to do with any ...

Re: Connecting while riding Amtrak

In ABE I have the rules Site securelogin.arubanetworks.com Accept Site nmd.phillyiap.philapa.wayport.net Accept but I think these apply more to 30th St. Station, any hints for getting (and staying) online while riding through through New Jersey? Can't help with your main problem, sorry, since I'm i...

[UNRELATED TO NS] Connecting while riding Amtrak

(Moved from NoScript Support -- Tom T.) Does anyone have any experience connecting to the Internet while riding Amtrak in the Northeast? (For me usually between Philadelphia and New York.) I know Amtrak says the service is still "spotty" but it seems like at certain times I can connect we...

Priceline quirky

Logging into Priceline has gotten quirky with the latest versions of Firefox and NS, when I go to sign in the calendar month popups for the arrival and departure date(s) interfere with the login and NS shows the ClickJack window…can still get it to work by manually closing the months and then loggin...

Re: NoScript and 1Password

I'm having this same problem--I need to disable both Bitdefender and NS to get the latest 1Password extension to work (having said that I've recently updated Firefox, NS and 1P, so I'm not sure which one is to "blame", but I had been using both 1P and NS together for years until now).

Re: Best settings in combination with AdBlock Plus

I see what you're saying but I'm not sure how I would know if I was being redirected when I right-click and allow stuff anyway…I tend to allow anything that doesn't have the letters "ad" somewhere in their name…

Re: Best settings in combination with AdBlock Plus

Ok thanks for your follow-up. I guesss what I'm getting at is, what would happen if I set NS to allow top-level sites, and set it to the most basic URL (without the http)? I know it's not recommended, but would this keep out the nasty scripts/whatever while allowing me to browse without right-clicki...

Re: Best settings in combination with AdBlock Plus

Thanks for the response and link. I never messed around too much with the settings so I think most of them should still be on default (I used to have problems with my laptop when travelling with the ABE feature, but it seems to have gotten better in the last year.) One question: why do you only temp...

Best settings in combination with AdBlock Plus

I like NS but I'm getting tired of setting permissions each time I go to a new website (and many old[er] websites sometimes change what's in the URL, so I have to right-click and adjust that as well). Can anyone recommend a simpler way to browse? I'd rather click on unwanted ads/pop-ups and mark the...

Site keeps giving potential Clickjacking warning

Everytime I go to my ISP's webmail login page (there are actually two, but the one to which it defaults after a logout is the one giving me trouble) I get a potential Clicking/Redressing warning from NS...is there to whitelist or get around this? (maybe unclicking Keep This Element Locked?) tia http...

Re: Constant script errors

Even though the file where the debugger stops is NoScript's code, I'm pretty much convinced the problem lies somewhere else. Please try to see whether you get messages from a clean profile , or with a clean profile and NoScript installed. I think you may be right I started getting errors without th...

[INVALID] Constant script errors

The past couple weeks or so I keep getting script errors, the name is something like chrome://noscript.XPCOM/22.

Is there some way to fix this? It hangs FF for me, and is really annoying as I'm on the road right now and I need to book flights/hotels/etc.

Re: ABE blocking connectivity while on the road

Yes that's exactly what it is (places that require you to agree to their terms before being able to browse).

I'll try to do the ruleset as posted and see what happens.
