NS stops working

Firefox 74.0 NoScript 11.0.22 Just updated and it's still doing it. This has been going on for a week or two. Firefox is set to auto-update plugins, so I don't know on which version it started. I'll just be browsing the interwebs as usual and then all of a sudden here's some ridiculous monstrosity t...

Re: NoScript messes with Firefox downloads

Thanks for confirming, therube. I never put FF into offline mode - I don't even know what that is! lol I also don't know what you mean about absolute and relative, but if it helps the developer to fix this, that would be great! barbaz, it looks similar, but I don't think it's the same. Could be. Aga...

Re: NoScript messes with Firefox downloads

Hmm ... nope. That was posted two years ago. This just started happening recently. And that shows the opposite results. "Download (save page as...) with some ad-blocker fails (because some subresources are blocked) and succeeds when retried" I'm saying Download (save page as...) succeeds, ...

NoScript messes with Firefox downloads

For the longest time, I could go to a page and hit CTRL+S and the entire page would save. It would save an html file and a folder with all the files needed for that page. Since updating to Firefox version 68, when I hit CTRL+S on a page, I get a little yellow dot on the download icon. This is someth...

Oh, too bad. Please keep it in mind anyway, if it ever does become possible. Thanks!

Request hover option pls

Currently I have the NoScript icon in the Toolbar. Every time I need to use it, I have to click it and for some reason that extra click is tedious to me. :? If there is any way you can make it so the list just pops up when I hover my mouse over the icon, that would be great. I understand this may no...

no auto update?

Firefox updated this morning. Restarted. But NoScript did not update itself. Usually it automagically checks for updates on Firefox start/restart and updates itself. As I was running an earlier version, it should have updated itself, no? Manually updated, but thought you should know, if that wasn't ...

reload every page?

Here's a new annoyance that just started popping up tonight:
Image

I'd like to not have to reload each page just to allow scripts and then reload again, please.
Thanks!

10: de-maximizes window

Ooh, I really hate this new glitch.
When clicking the icon, my maximized FF window now de-maximizes.

Happened in FF57 and just updated and still happens in 57.0.1
NS 10.1.3

I feel like I should provide more info, but really, that's it.
Thanks!

Re: XSS

I run Malwarebytes every couple months, never finding anything. This runs way quicker and actually found something! lol Couple PUPs that probably were nothing, since I am very careful, but whatever. They're gone now! Thanks for the tip. You're right, the Firefox crashing is not related to NoScript. ...

Re: XSS

Thanks. I closed all tabs, then turned off all content on "New Blank Page". Then clicked the Add-Ons icon - and the popup arrived! Hopefully it's just leftovers from Firefox shutting things down (I haven't been able to close it yet without getting the Firefox crash detector, so who knows w...

10: XSS popup

I have read all the explanations I can find and I still don't understand what XSS is or why it's a threat. But you seem to think it's bad enough to add blockers for it in NoScript, so I leave it enabled. Previously, NoScript showed a small yellow bar across the top of the site to let me know XSS was...
