Re: Nosscript not honoring auto top level domain allowed
therube did bring up a point that I needed to check.., that is, the phenomenon when going to dudkuckgo from the url bar as opposed to typing s search term into the search bar on the Firefox new page screen. Sure enough, it worked doing the former but not the latter. More playing around. And I feel d...

Re: Nosscript not honoring auto top level domain allowed
Well, I disabled every extension except NoScript and the problem still exists, so it is not an extension issue. (Without my font change extensions, I can hardly even see this as I type--appears to be about 4-6pt) Is there any clue as to what is happening in this: -first open of site, script is block...

Re: Nosscript not honoring auto top level domain allowed
Moving fast!
Ah. Title bar. Right. didn't even know Firefox did that.
Sorry about the font. I have eyesight issues, and I clicked it up but only one level in the popdown.
It still does it with Ghostery and Disconnect disabled.
It worked fine in the new profile.

Re: Nosscript not honoring auto top level domain allowed
Wow, so much! Here we go.. a. I have no idea what "e10s" is. b. Where was the search query not obscured? I thought I had, although I really don't care if it is not. c, I have no idea what you are referring to as a spammy link "behind" the image? I uploaded the image to Lunapic, a...

Nosscript not honoring auto top level domain allowed
Pages are opening almost universally as shown in the pic.
Hitting reload circle arrow results in the page loading.
I have tried it with Full and 2nd level top-level auto allowed checked.
How do I trace the cause of this?

Re: Never get "Temp allow" or "Allow;" only Mark Untrusted
I don't know how I did it. I know to NOT do it (defeats the whole purpose), but obviously I did do it somehow.

Re: Never get "Temp allow" or "Allow;" only Mark Untrusted
Wow you are right;
that certainly was not intentionally done!
and It did not occur to me that the existence of the "Forbid scripts globally" was a clue that I had done that.
Duh.
and thanks

Re: Never get "Temp allow" or "Allow;" only Mark Untrusted
ADD 2
I tried to uninstall and reinstall NoScript, but it does not uninstall completely as all options I had set were restored as soon as I reinstalled it--so it did not uninstall the options, which seems to be where the problem is.

Never get "Temp allow" or "Allow;" only Mark Untrusted
I am now never getting in the dropdown the options to temp allow or perm allow. I only get a list of (one or several) "Mark YYY as Untrusted." What have I got wrong. I went through options and all looks right to me. ADDED and I just noticed I am never getting the notificatons bar when hitt...

Re: Have to allow domain of page on
OK, some further strangeness... In Firefox, on my first attempt, at first load, the mapquest link did not load ANYTHING ( not the logo or ;need javascript' words). On REload, the site appeared as with my earlier description. The puzzle is that at first load, NO mapquest urls were in the whitelist (e...

Re: Have to allow domain of page on
Can you provide an actual example URL where you see this? http://www.mapquest.com/directions When I first go, there is only a logo on the page and "You must have JavaScript enabled to view MapQuest features. More information " ...AND WWW.MAPQUEST.COM IS NOT IN THE WHITELIST!! If I do noth...

Re: Have to allow domain of page on
I have verified something... when I first hit the page (and the graphic does not show), when I look in whitelist, www.yyy.com is not there. If I reload the page and look at the whitelist, it IS there in italics--assume italics means it is there as the temp permission as I have not clicked anything i...

Re: Have to allow domain of page on

Reload the page, Graphic shows. 2. close all. try again I clicked a bookmark to a page on a site. A graphic on the page does not show. drop NoScript...it has entry to allow the y...
