Re: What do the individual checkboxes for Default/Trusted/Untrusted/Custom mean?
@barbaz can your descriptions be added to the actual ui of the add-on? It is dumb the extension doesn't explain itself within its actual gui. Even with the descriptions from your post here https://forums.informaction.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=26285 it would be nice to see description: script - Jav...

feature request I've always wanted: trigger NoScript on other items besides scripts
I understand the idea of NoScript is to be a script blocker first... and then other items (object, frame, font, webgl, fetch, etc.) can be blocked once a domain has been identified by using javascript. However it would be nice to have other items trigger a domain to be blockable if they appear w/o t...

Re: Testers Wanted: NoScript UX Overhaul by Simply Secure
While we're at it, it would be nice to be able to block other 3rd party things even if a script what not referenced. I prefer uBlock Origin nowadays because I can block other items even when the domain does not have scripts. And prevent a bit more as well. I don't know if XHR's and websockets fall ...

Re: How to enable restrictSubdocScripting in NoScript 10?
I still don't understand this pref. So you are saying checked would mean it is a stricter policy? "Cascade top document's restrictions to subdocuments" To me this sounds like a looser policy. I would rather a subdocuments' permissions be granted or restricted separately. If I allow script/...

Re: Deploy initial config via software managment tool
storage-sync.sqlite is created within your profile folder when extensions are installed. You can use a sqlite database browser to view its contents but there are other extensions that might have data in there as well (HTTPS everywhere, cleanlinks, uBlock Origin, etc.) For a standard enterprise image...

Re: allow for additional controlling of content types
Thanks. I was wondering if that was the case. Perhaps that will be possible at a later time. Sometimes I am hesitant if allowing scripts might open the floodgates for something I may not desire- though I assume I only allow scripts on things I mostly trust anyways.

allow for additional controlling of content types
I don't know if "script", "other", or "object" control these web technologies but it would be nice to have the ability to block sites from creating service workers, web notifications, device sensor access, web beacons, running web assembly code, indexdb, dom storage, cl...

Webassembly and asm.js
Hello, I was wondering if/how NoScript addresses webassembly and asm.js? From what I understand, both are powerful and complement javascript. I also gather they are both currently popular for cryptomining. If NoScript ever supports blocking webassembly and/or asm.js would it be treated as script or ...

To add to this, is there really a purpose to marking a domain as Untrusted versus letting the default rule prevent?

Re: Feature: GNU LibreJS Rule
I tried the new web extension earlier this week. The only thing I didn't like was how you couldn't whitelist just one domain. You just have to keep clicking whitelist > refresh until everything is trusted when it may just need only trusting some code on one domain. But man it is so much faster than ...

The button to import saved settings does not do anything. You can export but not import.
