Re: allow for additional controlling of content types

Thanks. I was wondering if that was the case. Perhaps that will be possible at a later time. Sometimes I am hesitant if allowing scripts might open the floodgates for something I may not desire- though I assume I only allow scripts on things I mostly trust anyways.

allow for additional controlling of content types

I don't know if "script", "other", or "object" control these web technologies but it would be nice to have the ability to block sites from creating service workers, web notifications, device sensor access, web beacons, running web assembly code, indexdb, dom storage, clipboard events, payment reques...

Webassembly and asm.js

Hello, I was wondering if/how NoScript addresses webassembly and asm.js? From what I understand, both are powerful and complement javascript. I also gather they are both currently popular for cryptomining. If NoScript ever supports blocking webassembly and/or asm.js would it be treated as script or ...

Re: Per-site Permissions: Filter

To add to this, is there really a purpose to marking a domain as Untrusted versus letting the default rule prevent?

Re: Feature: GNU LibreJS Rule

I tried the new web extension earlier this week. The only thing I didn't like was how you couldn't whitelist just one domain. You just have to keep clicking whitelist > refresh until everything is trusted when it may just need only trusting some code on one domain. But man it is so much faster than ...

unable to import settings on Firefox for Android

The button to import saved settings does not do anything. You can export but not import.

For what it's worth, uBlock and Privacy Badger may have examples to get it to work.

Re: google keeps getting let through on kijji

NoScript won't block a 3rd party site if it has, say, just images, fonts, etc. It will first only catch it if the 3rd party has a script as well.

Re: Development on a public repo like github

Any update on this? Feels like this extension suffers when there is a lot of collaborative chatter amongst developers on github. This forum is like a bubble compared to the github community.

Re: Noscript Breaks Disqus - again

I, for one, can't stand Disqus. I think it's more on there end that the way they do things basically requires you to revert every protection you have in place. If I mess with referer control it breaks logins, first party isolation breaks logins, blocking 3rd party cookies breaks logins.. .I've never...

Re: 10.1.6.2 Changes and behaviour (incl a bug).

Finding the default settings now is a pure "prior knowledge" thing. I do not think anybody will find them on their own in this current implementation. Perhaps the Options page should have three rows of checkboxes at the top, one each for DEFAULT, TRUSTED (including Temp. TRUSTED), and UNTRUSTED, so...

change in 10.1.6.2rc1 lost ability to see what's blocked

Sorry for the crappy title. I couldn't write it out. Anyways. This change: - Removed customizability of DEFAULT, TRUSTED and UNTRUSTED preset from the popup (reported as a major source of confusion) while keeping it in the Options tab ... I understand but I just realized it has crippled my ability t...

I'd like to prevent that domain from even loading CSS. Like, if I desired minimal 3rd party traffic
