Re: Local rust docs not loading when Noscript active
Yes! I've now enabled it. When I reopen the page and open CUSTOM for file:, I now see x-load for file:. It's still not working, though. (I don't see x-load in the list when I select the full URL in the dropdown, so I also made sure to click Reset when that was selected, and to ensure there wasn't a ...

Re: Local rust docs not loading when Noscript active
When I click custom, all the capabilities are already checked. But I don't see x-load as an option.

Re: Local rust docs not loading when Noscript active
(Still trying to figure out how to provide a reasonable copy of these files so someone else can reproduce this -- but the docs weigh in at 725 MB across 50,000 files... I'll see if I can get something smaller! But yes, this involves local files loading other local files. No errors in the network tab...

Local rust docs not loading when Noscript active
I'm using NoScript 13.5.12 on Firefox 140.7.0esr and I'm unable to run scripts on *some* local files. So far I've only observed it in Rust (programming language) docs -- I generate the docs locally, and open them in the browser, but the search and settings features don't work. If I disable Noscript,...

Bug involving XHTML, CSP, and Firefox ESR
Viewing this page https://www.alm.website/blog/2021/04/25/v3.1-xsite (default untrusted) with Firefox 78.9.0esr I get a blank page. (The site's author, on Firefox 84 and with the site not trusted, does not see this problem.) Disabling NoScript or allowing scripts results in the page showing; disabli...

Re: "WAN IP ∈ LOCAL" HTTP Authentication popup is annoying
Someone said that there are two steps: 1) NS asks for the WAN IP, and 2) NS talks to the router to fingerprint it. Yes, "someone" did. Who do you think I am, this guy ? ;) You want to write about me on these forums, please say so, thanks. Sorry, I have a poor memory and could not immediat...

Re: "WAN IP ∈ LOCAL" HTTP Authentication popup is annoying
Someone said that there are two steps: 1) NS asks for the WAN IP, and 2) NS talks to the router to fingerprint it. I don't know what #2 is supposed to accomplish, but that's where I imagine this prompt is coming from. I can try to run another capture, but I remember seeing a NS-specific User-Agent h...

Re: "WAN IP ∈ LOCAL" HTTP Authentication popup is annoying
I would think it'd be the fingerprinting of the WAN IP that causes it, no? Yes, that's my guess. This router doesn't even respond to HTTP on its WAN side, but it will respond on the LAN side when *addressed* by its WAN IP. Would probably need insight from Giorgio as to why some people get prompted ...

Re: "WAN IP ∈ LOCAL" HTTP Authentication popup is annoying
This is on NS 2.9.0.14 and Firefox ESR 45.4.0. And... I just checked for updates again, although I swear I did that the other day, and I see updates for NoScript. Will upgrade and report back, although it may take a day for the popup to come 'round again. (If I forget to respond, assume it didn't ha...

"WAN IP ∈ LOCAL" HTTP Authentication popup is annoying
When the ABE checkbox "WAN IP ∈ LOCAL" is enabled, I periodically get an HTTP Authentication popup from Firefox asking for my router password. Now, I've read a previous post about why this happens and that I should just ignore it, and in fact originally used Wireshark to discover that the ...
