Re: Visited hacked site on iPhone

Your primary system seems to be secure enough to be sure enough that it is not compromised after such an incident. Although I would not call that a proof, this would be good enough for me. Unfortunately, I have insufficient understanding of iOS security. Apart from that, I assume that the bigger dan...

Re: Visited hacked site on iPhone

I don't know enough to answer your question, but I think I can say with some certainty that the best thing to do is to completely reset your iPhone to factory defaults and set it up anew if you want to be sure. I don't think you can prove that your phone has not been infected, because no one can man...

Re: NoScript window opened via context menu cuts off almost half of the right icon (i.e. the window is too small)

In the meantime I have tested it on my machine at work. Fresh profile (Firefox Developer Edition, NoScript latest RC). The Icon is cut off as well.

Re: NoScript window opened via context menu cuts off almost half of the right icon (i.e. the window is too small)

I already tested that on a clean profile without changing any setting, but not with different theme settings. I don't use any .css tweaks. So I repeated the test: fresh profile (everything default), different icons, dark or light, and any combination did not change the result. Resizing Firefox did n...

NoScript window opened via context menu cuts off almost half of the right icon (i.e. the window is too small)

The window that opens via the context menu item cuts off the right side of the last icon (and most likely the text of very long domains). I am using the latest dev version of NoScript 11.4.19rc3 and Firefox Developer Edition 112.0.b3 on Windows (FullHD screen, 100% magnification). Screenshot: https:...

Yes indeed, much better, love it! Including the combo box with three different designs to choose from. 👍

Re: Giorgio, please, can we lose the new dark theme?

Recently, there has been an unfortunate trend to return to dark modes. But for many people this is really hard to read, for example because they have astigmatism. On the other hand, light modes basically do not cause any problems for anyone. Therefore, I think a light mode is the better default. And...

Re: Temporary trust all should overwrite customized websites

"Set all on this page to Temporarily Trusted" option does not overwrite the customization. I think it should overwrite the customized but not overwrite the untrusted websites. I think it would probably work for you, if there were an option that "Disable restrictions for this tab"...

In the NoScript universe, setting a site to DEFAULT is exactly the same as removing it.

[BUG] local temporary per-site permissions are permanent, if ANY SITE permission is permanent - NoScript 11.4.5

Local Temporary per-site permissions are permanent, if the permission for ANY SITE is permanent. Add a local temporary per-site permission for a site (big clock). The permission for ANY SITE has to be permanent. Revoke temporary permissions or close all browser windows (expected behavior: temporary ...

Re: Any way to revert graphical change?

A company specialized in user experience (and probably not using NoScript on a regular basis themselves) made a good UI bad. Here is the study: Designing for Power Users: A Case Study on NoScript To be fair, I am not saying I agree with all of their suggestions, but they were at least rather differ...

Re: Any way to revert graphical change?

It's that the new logo is negatively jarring at a deep level. I didn't say the new icons were perfect. For example, turning the grim snake into a sad worm wasn't a very good idea. Compassionate users may want to free the worms, which is not what should be conveyed. In my opinion, the problem is not...

Re: Any way to revert graphical change?

Contrary to some people, I actually like the new design. I have always liked the original icons, but I also like the new ones. I guess it's more about being used to the old icons for such a long time than about the new icons being more difficult to use. There is, however, something which I consider ...

Re: Any way to revert graphical change?

In the current version 11.4.1, for every theme except Vintage Blue, it is very hard for me to tell which row is selected, especially if the selected row has a gray background.
