Re: [FIXED] UI appears overly large (HiDPI issue?)

Gosh, these CSS issues can really drive you mad. Despite the fact that there are style resets and the possibility to set ideally DPI agnostic length units (cm), this still doesn't work well. 10cm on my Linux Laptop look nothing like the 10cm on my Windows Desktop with separate screen. And not even t...

Re: (Linux) NoScript 10.1.5.5 Firefox 57 locks up

Yeah, it would only work for a certain amount of time here as well. So I switched to 10.1.5.8rc3. It looks less fancy (transparency apparently gone), but works.

Re: (Linux) NoScript 10.1.5.5 Firefox 57 locks up

Could you guys also test going back to 10.1.5.7 ? It's really weird here. Almost as if 10.1.5.8 triggered something permanently in the browser.

Re: (Linux) NoScript 10.1.5.5 Firefox 57 locks up

Yep, the rendering problems are gone. Well done! @Giorgio: Could you enlighten us on what exactly caused this issue, and why not on Windows? What did you change? You didn't even advertize rc2 as "fixing rendering issues on Linux". EDIT: The weird thing is, that since I have installed 10.1....

Re: (Linux) NoScript 10.1.5.5 Firefox 57 locks up

Sadly the same issues are present in Firefox 58 beta 11 Oh. That's bad to hear. I hope they are in contact with Giorgio about this. I can only speak for myself, but for me, NoScript is at the moment 100% broken, as it not only causes rendering issues, but even browser crashes (probably same or rela...

Re: (Linux) NoScript 10.1.5.5 Firefox 57 locks up

Yep, can also confirm this. Hence probably something Giorgio cannot fix unless it is possible to isolate and remove precisely the elements causing this to happen. In the best case, he has done a service to Mozilla by exposing this bug.

Re: NoScript 10.1.5.5 Firefox 57 locks up

Resizing the window for just one plugin, probably not gonna happen on my side, but so what, at least it's a start. Unfortunately, the Firefox renderer really seems to differ quite a bit on different systems, so it's not very surprising to me. Offtopic example: One issue I am currently tackling is th...

Re: NoScript 10.1.5.5 Firefox 57 locks up

In any case, 10.1.5.8rc1 does not fix the issue on my system. Building the DOM might be heavy, but it works on windows for me. Seems to be something that Mozilla could improve in their engine for linux.

Re: NoScript 10.1.5.5 Firefox 57 locks up

Confirmed for NoScript 10.1.5.7 on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS with Firefox 57.0.1. Sometimes, the browser even crashes with NoScript activated. It works fine on Windows 7 with Firefox 57.0.2 . Probably a rendering issue (maybe specific to x-server on linux) that needs to be fixed by Mozilla. Anyhow, makes NoS...

NoScript interfering with other webextensions

Hi. As some (including me) have already reported, NoScript is intefering with the functionality of other webextensions. As, for example, reported here https://forums.informaction.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=23993 and as I have reported on hackademix multiple times, there is currently an issue with ...
