Re: Noscript puts FF in a reload loop
v 11.0.39rc6 ============================================================ x Fix reload loops on broken file: HTML documents (thanks bernie for report) Is 11.0.39rc6 earlier or later than 11.0.39? I ask, because with NoScript 11.0.39 in Tor Browser 9.5.3 (64-bit) on Windows 10 1909, I see the rapid ...

Any way to make NS10 trust a domain only in the current tab?
I'm using NoScript 10.1.9.9 in Firefox 63.0.3 on Windows 7. There are sites that will only function if I trust cloudflare.com or such. Is there any way to tell NoScript 10 to temporarily trust one domain but only in the current tab — or ideally only when referenced from a page loaded from domain X ?...

Re: How to fix Per-Site Permissions always have to be reimpo
I doubt any of the Tor devs will see this, but I don't understand why, as a way to prevent fingerprinting, they would force the default to trusted instead of leaving NoScript's default settings as default. Did someone over there forget that allowing scripts to run on most sites helps to de-anonymiz...

NS 10+Tor Browser 8 saves trust settings across New Identity
NoScript 10 in Tor Browser 8 remembers trust settings for sites across a New Identity operation. To reproduce: Launch Tor Browser. Go to NoScript settings > Per-site Permissions. Add "google.com". Choose New Identity from the hamburger menu. "google.com" is still listed in the Pe...

Just a one-time bump to see if there's any consensus on having a help button. Thoughts?

Re: Does "Revoke Temporary Permissions" affect every tab?
Thanks, Giorgio. That clarifies my understanding.
I don't always remember to reload the other tabs after I revoke temporary permissions. An option to auto-reload all affected tabs would be ideal. Are there any plans to add such an option?

Re: Does "Revoke Temporary Permissions" affect every tab?
Consider this sequence of events: User has two tabs (A and B) open. In tab A, the user clicks "Set all on this page to Temporary TRUSTED". This creates temporary trust for a set of domains (on all tabs). Scripts on both tabs can now access those temporarily-trusted domains. In tab A, the u...

Re: Does "Revoke Temporary Permissions" affect every tab?
Isn't that a security risk? The user clicks a button labelled "Revoke Temporary Permissions", but only a subset of temporary permissions are revoked — until the user performs a manual operation. This appears to violate the Principle of Least Astonishment , because the user thinks he is res...

Does "Revoke Temporary Permissions" affect every tab?
When I click "Revoke Temporary Permissions", the current tab reloads but not the other tabs.
Are the permissions actually revoked in every tab (including the ones that didn't reload)?

Re: Dis/Enabling specific scripts on specific websites
Assume site A.com that uses scripts from jwpcdn.com. You have allowed both and the scripts work for the site as expected. You go to site B.com, that also tries to use scripts from jwpcdn.com, but you have NOT allowed scripts for site B.com. Scripts from NEITHER B.com or jwpcdn.com are run on B.com!...

Re: Dis/Enabling specific scripts on specific websites
If you allow scripts from domain jwpcdn.com on a any page, then scripts from jwpcdn.com can execute on all other pages too (UPDATE: except see the below replies for an exception).skriptimaahinen wrote:Do note that these scripts cannot run on any other page unless you have allowed scripts for that page.

Should there be a help button on the NS 10 popup?
I know there's no official NoScript 10 documentation page, but is it time for a help button on the NoScript 10 popup? It could take the user to a page with links similar to the ones at the top of https://noscript.net/: A Basic NoScript 10 Guide NoScript 10 primer by Jeaye Quantum vs Legacy compariso...

+1. If a confirmation dialog is added for this, it should be clear that the change persists across browser restarts.

Re: Icons got switched
I think that this is utterly illogical, because (I hope) the revoke button revokes any allowance actions of the the three buttons to its left. If you try it, you'll see that the "Disable restrictions for this tab" button is a toggle. You have to press it again (in a given tab) to re-enabl...
