Re: Firefox Extension that shows Encryption details.

The latest version :-) I installed the plugin, and it's pretty cool and gives a lot of information, but I'm really more interested in my connection. So rather than getting information about the site, I really want the information like above (the protocol and cipherspec actually used for the connecti...

Firefox Extension that shows Encryption details.

Lately, I've become interested in encryption settings of various websites. In Firefox, you get a 'green' loc in the nav-bar if server-side encryption is offered, but if you want more details, you have to click the lock, click the arrow "show connection details" and then "more informat...

Re: NoScript 10 UI suggestions

One thing that I find a bit annoying about the Options page: The enormous whitespace between the "Custom" icon and then the SSL lock, and or domain name. I kinda know why it is. If you (double-click) one of the "Default/Trusted/Untrusted/Custom" buttons, you get a submenu with al...

Re: [FIXED] Gigantic interface.

Yup, it's now 'normal' size again. Although I would stay it's still a bit bigger than it was before, which I don't mind, but don't prefer.

All in all, thanks for the quick turn-around, that's some fast bug-fixing right there.

[bug] Oversize text in 10.1.5.8 for MacOS

The text is comically oversized when I push the NoScript icon.

My suspicion is that it's because I've got a Retina Screen and something goes wrong with text scaling.

Re: Temporarily allow as default

There's an interface issue, due to FF57, which has disallowed the option to do it as in NS5. Now, the choice in the current interface is: 1-click "Temporary", 2-click "Permanent" or 1-click "Permanent", 2-click "Temporary" In theory, most people will do the pe...

Re: What's a sane setting for default?

Additionally: If I hit the defaults button (yay, 10.1.5.5) it says: "ALL the NoScript preferences and site permissions will be reset to their default values immediately. This action cannot be reverted. Do you want to continue?" But what if I copy the policy contents of "debug" se...

Re: [RFE]: Sorting the master preferences list.

Seconded.

However, there's a "poor man's version" of this already, just hit the "debug" checkbox, all the way down on the settings page. Within the dialog box, you'll see the domains sorted as you describe.

What's a sane setting for default?

Going on a tangent of https://forums.informaction.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=24012 (feel free to merge, if this deserves not its own thread). So, things that can possibly be blocked are: script, object, media, frame, font, webgl, fetch and "other" Now, visiting any page, I'm mostly concer...

Re: Whole Firefox messed up??

There's actually less risk with NS 10, since there is less that NS can do in FF57. WebExtensions are a barrier to harm. I'd say if there's no reason to jump today, then just give it some time. You can even wait till FF58. By then NoScript 10 should've gotten a lot more mature. I don't think there we...

Re: Firefox Quantum and 10.1.4

It's not 14 pages, the mirror.co.uk-domain offers up 14 scripts all by itself.

After trusting it temporarily, it will load some extra pages that will add more scripts. Just keep hitting that "temporarily allow all this page" (the one with the exclamation mark)

Ditto-ing, some sort of resize happens. It's slightly jarring.

Re: Issues with the count on the icon

AFAIK The counter lists scripts blocked. It has no relation to the number of sites/items in the list. One site can serve multiple scripts.

Re: to all topic from today: NEW VERSION

One thing I really think he should aim at:
Have the ability to change what "default/trusted/not trusted" means limited to the options menu. I think way too many new users think they're adjusting for the current domain only, while tinkering with those settings.
