Re: Option to remove context menu introduced in NS 10.1.6.5?

Just to point it out: Having it in the context menu was standard pre 10.1 . It's not as much new, as it is reintroducing a method that was both existent in prior versions, and was requested back by users who used it that way and avoided having an icon in the bar. I don't think it was optional back t...

Re: 10.1.6.2 Changes and behaviour (incl a bug).

bump: Bug still in 10.1.6.5 Creating a rule via the in-page interface still creates a custom rule and changes the default configuration Just to reiterate what the problem here is. Activating any media or object via any webpage automatically allows media or object for ALL webpages by default. That su...

Re: Deploy preset whitelist for new profile

The whitelist is afaik currently saved in storage-sync.sqlite in the firefox profile folder.

So maybe it is possible to dump a preconfigured one after creating the profile or running a script that inserts the whitelist into the sql database?

Re: NoScript and mobile.twitter.com

Are you positive that this is Noscripts fault? Because: "last updated : 7 months ago (Jul 3, 2017)" Works with Firefox for Android 54.0a1 and later, Firefox 54.0a1 and later Is it possible that the addon just doesn't work with the new FF57+ version any more? Dudes blogs Certificate is expi...

Re: NoScript and Dencentraleyes

Installed it out of curiosity. Seems to work as intended. It only seems to do it's magic once you allow the cdn script request on the page in question, because logically if your browser doesn't want to run a Script, there is no request to intercept and reroute. Or to put it differently DCE does it's...

Re: site needs Globally Allowed

Would love to help, but apparently that site was down for over a week and is still having DNS issues.

So when I actually can resolve to them, I might look at it again.

Re: Legacy versions

Is the latest legacy version 5.1.8.4rc2 supported for nightly 60? I know is Giorgio is busy now with two versions but I hope he can get around to taking a look at the legacy one because it has several problems in the latest nightly. The toolbar icons are gone and it's not completely blocking script...

Re: Temporary permissions ripple across all windows

If not, is there a trick to clear all temporary permissions accumulated across all sites visited within a browsing session? Not sure if this qualifies as trick, but in the overlay there is a button labelled "Revoke Temporary Permissions" that does exactly that (behaves like closing the se...

Re: 2nd level domains

On imdb . com, clicking the NoScript button shows this: ...imdb . com ...media-imdb . com ...media-imdb . com That seems wrong. Either those two entries do the same thing, then only one should be shown, or NoScript should show how they're different. Doesn't happen for imdb anymore, but there's exac...

Over the top split from t=24484

Before: It's a Tor Browser issue, why are you doing this? After: you'll find this was NOT my problem, and notwithstanding this (and your bad manners) I've just provided a diagnosis, a fix and a temporary work-around. See, you're improving a little. Dude. You still don't get it, right? It's not a NS...

Re: NoScript makes FireFox Quantum useless

He sounds like a first time NoScript user. And one who expected NoScript to make websites work magically. Really? Because if he is literally describing his problem, it is something entirely different than what beginners usually describe. It sounds as if something entirely different is interfering w...

Re: troubleshoot (log blocked sites)

So the issue is the site is it is during the redirection I believe a script is being executed and then that redirects to another site which is already allowed. Allowing scripts globally should allow the site to work but would defeat the purpose of finding out what might be the site issue. I'm going...
