Re: Update to FF 57.0.2.?
I have updated to FF 57.0.2 a few hours ago. Until now I have noticed now new issues with NoScript (in the meantime using version 10.1.5.6). As far as I can see, all works as before.

NoScript 10: Too many changes at the same time
First of all I would like to make clear that I am very grateful to Giorgio for all his outstanding work.
Nevertheless concerning NoScript 10 during the last time I got the impression that a lot of problems and confusion among the users could have been caused by a combinaton of two different things ...

Re: NoScript10 makes website and browser freeze
I wonder if all German libraries are like that?
Only in combination with Italian software.
But with version 10.1.5.6. of NoScript freezing has stopped. The (complete) loading of the site has still a delay (compared with deactivated NoScript) but as a whole the site is usable ...

Re: NoScript10 makes website and browser freeze
Thanks to you, Bo and tigerjack.
I can confirm both your observations: With version 10.1.5.6rc2 the bibliothek website does not freeze and becomes usable again but it reacts very slow (e.g. when clicking in a link within the website) causing a UPC usage of up to 100%.

Re: NoScript10 makes website and browser freeze
Thanks for your encouragement, Bo. ;)
Perhaps you should find a version that feels pretty stable for you and don't move until the next one you feel the same way.
Yes, that's a good idea.
With Sandboxie, you can test all NoScripts versions in the sandbox without affecting your real system.

Re: NoScript10 makes website and browser freeze
Hello Bo and barbaz,
thanks a lot for your replies and for your tests.
Good to see that I am not alone with my problem. ;)
My trust in NoScript 10 decreases as problems seem to become more.
PS:
10.1.5.2 and it felt better than with 10.1.5.5.
I can confirm that the freeze does not occur with ...

NoScript10 makes website and browser freeze
I already wrote about a problem with a certain website when NoScript 10 is activated: https://forums.informaction.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=24040
Now I discovered (even heavier) issues with another website too:
http://bibliothek.edition-romiosini.de/

I am glad good to see that you are active here in this forum too. ;)

By the way:
Above I wrote:
No one would expect that checking/unchecking a box (in this list) for a certain domain has an effect to all domains! (With exception of course the checkmark list for the Custom scope.)
Why is such a list in every line (= for every domain/subdomain)? When I check or ...

Re: NoScript now defaults for most stuff ON!!! :(
Sorry that I did not read all the thread, but I was already worried when I read the following:
Here are default settings of NoScript 10.1.5.1, for reference:
Default: only "frame", "fetch", and "other" are enabled. Everything else disabled.
In my case it is different (and I am not aware that I ...

No. :( By allowing google.analytics first happened the same as when clicking on the blue bar on top: The contents/text of the pad disappeared. (After refreshing the page the contents were here again.)

NoScript 10 and publishwith.me
"publishwith.me" is a site where you can create online a document (called "pad") in order to collaborate on this document together with others:
https://publishwith.me/
That's the starting page:

Re: New noscript interface
It makes no sense other than default, untrusted and untrusted to be scopes, and custom to be not.
But "Custom" is a scope too. See e.g. the following sentences in blunelvita's guide:
There are four scopes: Default, Trusted, Untrusted and Custom.

Only the Custom scope allows [...]
