Re: what have you done?
When I set a domain into the custom preset, and check some of the checkmarks, the same checkmarks appear (and are used as rules) for the default preset. This is listed as fixed in 10.1.2RC1, which I just installed. I cannot confirm, as I don't use Custom. I upgraded for the temp-all/revoke-temp but...

Will NS 10 Auto-update?
Again, my thanks to all involved in development and support of NoScript. It makes my world better. Now that I've muddled through the confusion of the first adjustment, I am mostly satisfied with it. I am eagerly anticipating UI updates when they come. Will NS updates continue to be automatically ins...

Re: New noscript interface
The new GUI is on par with uMatrix now. Extremely unintuitive. It is temporary, playing catch-up with the Firefox roll-out. Please i need help, if i browse a website for the first time and i want to allow scripts, i want it to be temporary, without noscript creating an permanent entry in the list. ...

Re: Where is the "allow" function in Noscript for FF57+
I am at loss where I can allow / forbid - temporarily or permanently - individual URLs. Find the URL in either the menu or Status page. To allow, click the second icon. The hover text says "Trusted." The icon changes to say "TRUSTED." To make that temporary, click the little clo...

Re: New noscript interface
I would like to know why extension developers were not brought on board early enough to update their extensions and avoid this catastrophe. My (perhaps flawed) understanding watching from the wings is that there was lots of advance notice that the new API was coming, and there was lots of advance n...

Re: revoke temporarily permission
I share your frustration. Blog posts say it is coming. I will hope soon, but timing on software is often driven by factors that seem odd to users.

Set them to Default, and they will be gone the next time you load the Settings page.jawz101 wrote:Now I don't know how to delete them.

Re: New noscript interface
I would just like to know: Is this heavy UI change an intended redesign by Giorgio, or was it forced by Mozillas new plugin interface? Statements elsewhere say that the effects of the Quantum roll-out blindsided many developers. My impression, filtered through my experience in software development,...

Re: Contextmenue
That doesn't seem to be available yet. There is a menu under the address bar icon and the Settings page. No other UI yet (that I have found).Norre wrote:Hello
I have installed 10.1.1 but the context menu does not exist.

Re: New noscript interface
I note however that in the menu under Trusted, the Script box, though checked, is now gray, which I imagine means inoperative. My interpretation of the inactive "Script" checkbox is that Trusted inherently allows scrips. That's sort of the whole reason NoScript was created in the first pl...

Re: The tooltip of the padlock
If the padlock is green, then the entry for that site only applies to HTTPS. If red, HTTP & HTTPS.
Personally, I think red & green should have different text: "HTTPS only" vs. "HTTP & HTTPS."

Re: Temporarily allow option is gone?
I think this is the most asked question of the day. There is not currently a "Temporarily allow all on page" feature. You can temporarily allow a site by first marking it Trusted. At the right edge of that icon, there is a little clock. Click it, and it becomes a larger clock. That site is...

Re: 10.1.1 has no delete option and no temp option
1/ The whitelist had many domains listed three times, as abc.x, http://abc.x, and https://abc.x. I could not fine a way to delete the obsolete settings. To delete a whitelist item, set it to Default (first icon), and it will be gone the next time you load the Settings page. It will not disappear im...

Re: New noscript interface
a long list of automatically white listed addresses I do not know or want - but can't edit/remove This one is less than obvious. If you set the site to Default (first icon), it will be gone the next time you bring up the Settings page. I still haven't figured out what the "Address of web site&...
