Re: Wacky XSS Script HELP SOS!
Your duplicate cross-post in https://forums.informaction.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=24067 has been deleted. Consider this a warning per Forum Rules #8. I get this warning and another similar one, with a different website. It continuously pops up, no matter what I do. The two pop ups have occurred ...

Re: FF57 search being detected as XSS attack
No, 10.1.5.1 seems to have addressed the issue. Cool.barbaz wrote:Is this problem still there in NoScript 10.1.5.1?

Re: NoScript 10.x+ porting
Cool. Thanks. I only use Chrome every now and then, when a page doesn't load correctly in Firefox (for example) but I'd like not to forfeit security in doing so, so I'm glad it will eventually be ported.

[RESOLVED] FF57 search being detected as XSS attack
Using the search functionality built into Firefox 57 (either via the unified address bar or via the separate search box) searches are being picked up as a XSS attack (see screenshot). The only thing that has changed from not having this behavior to having it, is updating NoScript to 10.1.5. This see...

NoScript 10.x+ porting
Just curious to know if, now that NoScript is based on WebExtensions, which is supposed to be mostly cross-browser compatible, will you be porting NoScript to Chrome (which already used WebExtensions)? Or is there still something stopping you from porting it?

Re: NoScript 10.1.3 (not RC) un-maximizes FF57
Anyone know whether or not Giorgio has been made aware of this issue and if he's already working on a fix? Giorgio has put in a fix, and he says it will be released tomorrow - https://hackademix.net/2017/11/28/growing-pains-1013-rcs/#comment-39387 Sweet. Glad to see he found the problem and already...

Re: NoScript 10.1.3 (not RC) un-maximizes FF57
I notice that with 10.1.3, every time I click the NoScript icon the browser window expands horizontally slightly to the right. With 10.1.3c3 it stays the same size. I would suspect this is related. Yep. That's what I was referring to in my edit of the original post. I didn't notice that the window ...

Re: NoScript 10.1.3 (not RC) un-maximizes FF57
That's fair. It's not ACTUALLY unusable but it definitely is more difficult than it should be.

Re: NoScript 10.1.3 (not RC) un-maximizes FF57
Hopefully it gets fixed very quickly because the extension is nearly unusable at this moment.
Edit: I'm exaggerating. It's nowhere near unusable. It's just really annoying and not behaving correctly. Still needs to be fixed ASAP.

[FIXED] NoScript 10.1.3 (not RC) un-maximizes FF57
Whatever changed between 10.1.3 RC3 and the full release of 10.1.3, it now un-maximizes FF57 when you click the icon, and displays the menu in a completely new window rather than as it should (as a bubble) some of the time (not all the time). Nothing in the release notes about anything changing that...

You are not a Mod here, comments like this from you will invite precisely the opposite of what you want. Please do not make any further comments of this nature. Exactly. You ARE a mod here... I shouldn't have to tell you to keep things professional. You're supposed to lead by example. Those are bas...

Re: Frustrations
Disagreeing with facts just makes you look like a crank. Giorgio was involved in designing the WebExtensions APIs. He would know if something is not technically possible. I'm not being "cranky". Don't turn this into some personal debate - keep it professional. Please, by all means, prove ...

Re: Frustrations
I looked into umatrix, and that imho is something entirely different. And I'm glad fine specific domain control is properly back. My initial question is in response to your last statement, about uMatrix being "something entirely different". What do you mean? Both NoScript and uMatrix do e...

6) Unfortunately the old layout is not technically possible in WebExtensions. https://hackademix.net/2017/11/21/top-immediate-priorities-for-noscript-quantum/#comment-38469 I don't agree entirely. I have many add-ons that are NOT legacy, that STILL have their same menu-based layout that they did pr...
