Re: Incomplete domain list in button menu
I believe I found a reason: If you set up Firefox to block potentially risky (espacially tracking) content on its own, this also excludes some domains a priori.

Defect download link, empty version number
I want to "get it", but the direct download link for NoScript returns:
I assume the version number of the latest release got blanked out by accident. Not Found

Re: "Drop here to hide": Unknown Unicode symbol
Yes, it displays a "Close" cross now. The position might be 2-3 px low, though.

Re: "Drop here to hide": Unknown Unicode symbol
This seems to be a "drop zone" where you can drag&drop movable elements from a document, like images and videos.

"Drop here to hide": Unknown Unicode symbol
Under Windows 7 SP1, I only see a placeholder for Unicode symbol U+1F5D9 (Cancellation X); I seem to miss a font which provides this symbol.

Re: A basic guide to NoScript 10
Well, my last request (3 posts ago, can't link it due to the anti-spam filter) is still active and unreplied.

Re: Incomplete domain list in button menu
I'm trying to post a reply but it is blocked by the board's antispam filter... is it related to frames? No, I am not allowed to mention the website with the blue bird.
Well - I will check again if frames are allowed for it. If not, then a reset may be necessary.

Re: Incomplete domain list in button menu
A different PC, more or less same configuration: Works as it should.
I wonder if NoScript saves any private data in a file which may get corrupt (e.g. I often had Pale Moon crashing visiting YouTube until I deleted SQLite files for site storage)...

Incomplete domain list in button menu
Windows 7 SP1, Firefox Quantum 59.0.2 (64b), NoScript 10.1.7.5 along with uBlock Origin 1.15.24 There are some websites where NoScript obviously does not show the complete list of domains in its button menu, so I can't check whether they are allowed, at least not without going into the verbose confi...

Re: A basic guide to NoScript 10
Is there also a feature (available or planned, if technically possible at all) to (dis-) allow specific JS functions? Imagine there are several JS functions for a site, maybe in one separate source file, maybe inline. Some are useful to have the site presented nicely and allow correct navigation. Ot...

Re: Some sites are not loading properly
Part of this issue will surely be that YouTube "optimizes" the appearance for different browsers. Faking a specific browser version to tune the selection of JavaScript functions used in the user interface ... that's just how the internet shall not work.

Re: Some sites are not loading properly
It's probably because you didn't allow all necessary scripts. On youtube for instance you also need, along with youtube.com of course, gstatic as well as googlevideo.com to make the video run. Unfortunately, NoScript 10.1.5.5 does not list the gstatic domain to be allowable. I can only allow domain...
