Re: µMatrix thread

I would say, yes. But with Basilisk a "new" Pale Moon start which support (not all) webextensions Basilisk is in no sense a "new" Pale Moon. It is a different browser. It is created by Moonchild Productions, which also created Pale Moon. They are two separate products which Moon...

Re: Good, non-Mozilla-based browsers?

Look at the reasons for the rebase - https://forum.palemoon.org/viewtopic.php?t=11529 Has something changed there? Why, yes, a lot has changed. So much that I don't know where to begin. More developers for one thing; participation has greatly increased AFAIK. The other browser project mentioned in ...

Re: Good, non-Mozilla-based browsers?

I use 64-bit Linux, mainly Lubuntu 14.04. Any suggestions for browsers to look into? Hi, I use Ubuntu 14.04 myself. - Pale Moon is a nice browser. But historically it hasn't kept up with supporting HTML5 features needed by the sites I visit. And (correct me if I'm wrong on this) their dev team migh...

Re: µMatrix thread

https://github.com/gorhill/uMatrix/commit/507c33dc0ef254cba46c4da64bb16e354a266307 Does this mean that Pale Moon support is being dropped and SeaMonkey won't be supported until it gets WebExtensions support? Or just that users of those browsers will have to self build µMatrix releases from the sour...

NoScript description string, feature request

(Pulled this out of an existing thread because it's a different topic.) Also I want to point out another thing: caption says "Extra protection for your Firefox"; should say "Extra protection for your Pale Moon". Nope. That text is static, it has no way to detect the bro...

Re: "Disable" in Add-ons Manager really disables NoScript

A similar problem appears in Pale Moon 27.5.1 (64-bit) in Ubuntu 14.04, with some minor differences. Steps to reproduce: Start with a new profile. Install NoScript 5.1.3. Restart Pale Moon. Open Add-ons Manager and click Disable button for NoScript. When warning dialog appears, choose to disable glo...

The version at Pale Moon Add-ons Site remains 5.0.6 . Would there be any chance of updating? :?:

Re: "Disable" in Add-ons Manager really disables NoScript

I edited the original post's title to reflect my understanding of this report, please correct me if I'm wrong. So the problem is that no matter what the "usual" safety prompt tells you about not entirely disabling NoScript, if you use the [Disable] button the Add-on Manager just does its ...

Re: Unable to post images in forum to illustrate my issue

The problem was mixing [color] bbcode tags and URLs in the same post. The antispam rule tries to catch attempts to conceive links. I'm not sure I understand this. I used color to emphasize something in another sentence, and then I use URLs to illustrate the problem. It would never occur to me that ...

Re: PM 27 - NoScript status bar icon disappears with 5.1.3rc

EDIT: Actually, it's worse than that. So frustrated. I've just suffered some bizarre UI issues, including the disappearance of buttons from modal dialogs. I had to completely disable NoScript and then use Clean Install to remove all the prefs to get my profile work again. You mean affe...

Unable to post images in forum to illustrate my issue

I have attempted to include images on a recent post so I could show the developers the trouble I am having as it is a UI issue. However, I was thwarted because when I tried to post or preview I got this error message: Ooops, something in your posting triggered my antispam filter... Please use the &q...

Re: PM 27 - NoScript status bar icon disappears with 5.1.3rc

After I read your post, I found that 5.1.3 had been released, so I have not tried 5.1.3rc3 . So I upgraded to 5.1.3. This time a different UI oddity occurred. On one window, I got a two NoScript buttons, as illustrated below. {Actually, I can't show you. Every time I try to post an image or any kind...
