Re: NoScript causes all tabs to 'reload' when launching brow
off-topic: @DIV, NoScript 5.1.8.4 is outdated. Please upgrade to latest NoScript Classic from https://noscript.net/getit (5.1.9 at time of writing). Hello, barbaz . I've now updated. Thank-you for the tip-off. Actually I'd thought I was either up-to-date or nearly up-to-date. Now that you mention i...

Update on tab loading/reloading
I can confirm that choosing "Only restore tabs when I need them" in SeaMonkey seems to have prevented the undesired behaviour.

Re: NoScript causes all tabs to 'reload' when launching brow
Hello, therube : thanks for the advice. I have made the change you suggested now, and will try it out. Maybe I had been misinterpreting the setting I had chosen. The three options available are Restore all tabs immediately Restore x tabs at a time Only restore tabs when I need them where x is some u...

Re: NoScript causes all tabs to 'reload' when launching brow
APPENDED PRELUDE I was — like a number of users [1] — not a fan of the default behaviour of every tab being a candidate for reloading whenever a temporary permission is granted. It took me a surprisingly long time to find the setting that would instead prevent NoScript from reloading other tabs besi...

NoScript causes all tabs to 'reload' when launching browser?
Does NoScript 'classic' (version 5.1.8.4) cause all tabs to be actively 'loaded' when launching a browser? Specifically SeaMonkey version 2.49.4. I like to launch my browser with all of the tabs that were open from the last session when I last closed it. Sometimes (read, "usually") this am...

Re: Do major NoScript updates crash SeaMonkey?
Thank-you for the extra information.
It seems I must be looking at the wrong page for NoScript release history. When I look at https://noscript.net/changelog I still cannot find any dates for the respective versions.
Regards,
DIV
P.S. AFAIK, I'm not on the dev channel for NoScript.

Re: Do major NoScript updates crash SeaMonkey?
Hello, barbaz. I may be not submitting the details of the SeaMonkey crashes: all of them linked to https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/about/throttling/ I lieu of that information, I was thinking it might be useful to try to see if there is any correlation with my SeaMonkey crash history and the NoScrip...

Do major NoScript updates crash SeaMonkey?
I have installed SeaMonkey version 2.46, with NoScript also installed. From time to time SeaMonkey crashes. Maybe once per month, on average. This could be caused by many things, including the fact that I typically might have more than 100 tabs opened at the same time. However, I have noticed that a...
