Re: Noscript puts FF in a reload loop
How mysterious. And for comparison, with .96 and that same file, I get this in the browser console Key event not available on some keyboard layouts: key=“i” modifiers=“accel, alt, shift” id=“key_browserToolbox” browser.xhtml Key event not available on some keyboard layouts: key=“i” modifiers=“accel,al...

Re: Noscript puts FF in a reload loop
OK, I double checked and it still happens.. I am now running: Version 11.0.39rc5 Last Updated August 19, 2020 I checked the log [I didn't even know there was an error log!] and it reported: Content Security Policy: The page’s settings blocked the loading of a resource at inline (“script-src”). Oops....

Re: Noscript puts FF in a reload loop
Sorry , I thought I had mentioned: I *DID* try the 39rc5 version and the problem still happened. I've now reverted to .97 and turned off auto-updating and it is fine.

Re: Noscript puts FF in a reload loop
A trap!! :) As I menitoned, moving down to .96 fixed my problem. And it was *broken* again this morning. I was back to .98. I realized the error of my ways and turned off automatic-updates and then re-downversioned to .96. Better now and I trust it'll stay that way In case it matters, I'm running FF...

Re: Noscript puts FF in a reload loop
Two things: first, yes--- with *only* noscript enabled it still happens,
and second: II "removed" .38 and installed .37 and the problem is gone. YAY
So something in the .38 version was causing the looping. Thanks for the help!!

Re: Noscript puts FF in a reload loop
I think I see the problem. Here's what I'm running: Version 11.0.38 Last Updated August 18, 2020 Looks like my troubles started with the new version! No wonder I just noticed it :o) ANd yes: I found it because I first tried it in safe mode and it was fine, and then I began adding add-ons and *just* ...

Noscript puts FF in a reload loop
This is very strange: on file:// webpages [and only those, AFAICT] noscript puts Firefox into what looks like an infinite refresh loop [the little "refresh" arrow is flashing over and over]. i have noscript set to "untrusted" for file:// but it doesn't help. I cannot find a way t...

Question mark *always* on NS icon
I think beginning recently [like a day or so back] NS now seems never to do anything: the status icon just is the S with a question mark superimposed. I can't figure out if it my browser is always running JS or if something else has blocked JS [firefox 66.0.5/64 on win10]. The on AV I'm running is W...
