Re: Why isn't my NS blocking this?
Slowly the light dawns. NS doesn't block Twitter, it just prevents Twitter running scripts.

Why isn't my NS blocking this?
OK, here's the thing. Twitter is not on my whitelist. I prefer it that way because I so rarely use it. Unthinkingly I just now clicked this link: https://t.co/jFib0nO2RW which took me to this page https://twitter.com/WNFIV/status/857821554368970752/photo/1 The page came up just fine. But that's a tw...

Re: Question on temporarily allow all this page
Here it is. https://www.reddit.com/r/LegionFX/ When I hover the cursor over the NS icon I see the following urls: reddit.com (which I've already whitelisted), amazon-adsystem.com, google-analytics.com, googletagservices.com, and redditstatic.com. None of the latter four are allowed. I click on 'temp...

Question on temporarily allow all this page
OK, I go to the Reddit Legion forum. I temporarily allow all this page in order to reply to something. Then I figure I'll make the permissions permanent as I'll be going there often. One site I noticed before giving temporary permissions though was amazon-adsystem.com, I don't want to include that o...

Re: Temporary permissions
Thanks for the link, barbaz. It isn't easy for a newbie to navigate his way through NS but the help provided in this forum will be invaluable.

Re: Temporary permissions
Thanks, that's just what I wanted to know. I'm going to check out ABE although it might take me a while to learn how to use it properly.

Re: Temporary permissions
Sorry, I see my question was confusing. Let me try to clarify. I go to anywhere.com. and I see that doubleclick.net and ytimg.com are blocked. I temporarily allow all this page for whatever reason. Then I leave the page without revoking permissions. Later I go to anywhereelse.com. Will doubleclick.n...

Temporary permissions
OK, I'm just getting used to NoScript and I realize it's going to take a little time to find my way around all its countless options. I have a question. Let's say you visit one site and you'd like to see the videos or pics there so you 'temporarily allow all this page'. You get in to seeing what you...

Re: New urls appear to be allowed by default
Checked for malware, none found. But I think I've found the problem. I just checked my whitelist and it was way bigger than I thought. I think what's been happening is that I've been allowing sites and then forgetting to revoke permissions afterwards. Just pruned my whitelist to the essentials. Tell...

New urls appear to be allowed by default
I happened to notice on a board that I regularly use and for which I've had NoScript permissions set for ages that a new one had appeared, something called gumgum.com. What concerned me though is that gumgum was allowed by default. If I hadn't been checking permissions for that page for something el...
