Ok thanks Barbaz, I'll look into it.
uMatrix has a learning curve by itself as I see, and I suspect adding another add on, Umatrix, will aggravate my fingerprint situation even more... But I want to learn it, it looks precise and fun to use.

google.com and gstatic.com
Hello, I am looking for a little answer, the 2 scripts in objects are present in 90% of the websites but they are mandatory almost only on google's websites to get working services such as Youtube or google translate, which I use every day. My question is: I would like to know is there a way to tell...

Re: Evercookies
Ok then I might be safer then I though. I like No Script very much, I wish we could have more layers to work around the main scripts of a page to be able to slice parts of it. For instance this website is full of junk: www_meteomedia.com_/ca But I have to trust 2 main scripts in order to use the web...

Thank you for the subject management. :D FireJail seems like a very good idea, I was not aware the therm was Sandboxing an application before yesterday and that was a very standard security procedure. If I succeed in installing and using it, it should do the job properly! Ill work on that today.. an...

Hello everyone, I am here in a quest to protect myself against tracking, I use no script for maybe 2 years and it’s my favourite add on. I ask myself many questions on many things these days about privacy and tracking and my main concern right now is the Evercookie, zombiecookie, supercookie (I thin...

Re: googlemaps and NoScript
OK sure,
I am testing No Script on my favourites websites, it's interesting. So far I can access the content for most of them while blocking a lot of bad things. I think I am going to like NoScript a lot, really powerful.

Re: googlemaps and NoScript
Thank you for the info about the BlockSite, I did not know that it was compromised. I was using that add on to block 5000 websites known for using Canevas fingerprinting scripts. A drastic approach but it was blocking a lot of 3rd party sites on a regular basis. Ublock origin is installed now. My co...

Hello, I am a new No Script user. And I wish to learn how to use it properly. I am facing a situation right now, it seems there is no way to have streetview working on googlemaps.com using NS. The maps are displayed, I can zoom in and out but the options are not there on each sides of the map. This ...
