I can't see what script to allow

When trying to add a card to a betting website, it calls on a script from worldpay.com to process the payment. Perhaps another script is called upon, but when it is blocked it stops calling upon it (I can see the number of blocked scripts on the noscript icon change). Is there a way to see what was ...

Re: Temporarily allow as default

This isn't the case for me.
When I click on the S once it becomes permanently trusted, and I need to then click on the clock to make it just temporarily trusted.
My NS is up to date.
Is there a way to change this?

Re: DNT header ignore Firefox config

NoScript users have massively had DNT enabled, so as a NoScript user, I have less entropy if I enable DNT as well. I am singled out as being a Firefox user with JS disabled (very likely from NoScript) with no DNT header (the vast majority of Firefox users with JS disabled have DNT ON) I agree that ...

Re: What happens if a reputable site runs a tracking script?

I read the following study about spoofing my user agent https://seclab.cs.ucsb.edu/media/uploads/papers/sp2013_cookieless.pdf. In summary, if you spoof your user agent there is always a way to tell you are spoofing it, and if they know you are spoofing something it will be a red flag. I make money f...

Re: What happens if a reputable site runs a tracking script?

Thanks again. So if the site I need to use decides to employ it's own tracking script or the scenario that we cannot defend against then it can run active content and obtain details of my hardware? If so maybe it is impossible to remain anonymous? My solution is to try to appear as a different user ...

Re: What happens if a reputable site runs a tracking script?

Amazing thank you for your response once again! So a reputable site can allow a third party run a script through their site to track us (such as iesnare) and nobody blinks an eyelid but if they run the script through their own site people decide this is too much? Or is it quite problematic trying to...

What happens if a reputable site runs a tracking script?

I am worried about being tracked by online gambling sites as I access more than one account from the same device. Currently I use noscript to only allow necessary scripts run and ublock origin so that in case I allow a tracking script by mistake I would hope that the site this script is run by is on...

Re: Does noscript protect against this?

Thanks!

So the only way hardware details can be obtained is if I allow the bad site and thus they can use active content?

And the filtered lists on uBlock origin give me extra protection because if I decide to allow a bad site they will override this choice and block it anyway?

Re: Noscript and digital fingerprint

When I allow the top level site to run on panopticlick, it still cannot run javascript. I need to “allow all this page” for it to run javascript and make my fingerprint unique. Are most sites like this, ie do they rely on third party code to view my full fingerprint or can they fingerprint me once I...

Does noscript protect against this?

I have been researching spywaye, principally iesnare. A study (which I can link if need be) claims it can read our hardware details, such as “driver enumeration” and “device identifiers” and they can read the hard drive data from a plugin only. More specifically; “The client may also be delivered th...

Noscript and digital fingerprint

Using https://panopticlick.eff.org/ my browser is much more unique now that I use noscript.
However, if I use a site that I need to "allow" for it to funcion, this site can then run javascript and fingerprint my device (browser plugins etc)?
