I have had to uninstall 5.1.4 as it happened with 5.1.2.
This time noscript is preventing the login from quite a number of sites (i.e. mediaworld).
I guess I will keep 5.1.3 for a while. Never happened before.

ThanksGiorgio Maone wrote: You just need to drag and drop the file onto a browser window.
After 24 h everything seems ok. Guess the problem was in the 5.1.2

Re: [FIX] Fx 56 - NoScript icon disappeared on 5.1.2 update
That's the issue: whatever your "new tab" preferences are, please use the click/keyboard combo which opens the link in the same tab, or just drag the link itself onto the navigation bar. https://secure.informaction.com/download/betas/noscript-5.1.3rc1.xpi just copied it into the address b...

Re: [FIX] Fx 56 - NoScript icon disappeared on 5.1.2 update
Ok, I am still using FFox 45.9 ESR because it the latest available for my old mac, but the problem is not related with FF (now working) but with the last noscript update. Please check whether latest development build 5.1.3rc1 helps. Otherwise please downgrade to 5.0.10 and disable automatic updates...

Re: [FIX] Fx 56 - NoScript icon disappeared on 5.1.2 update
I had to uninstall NoScript after the last update (friday?). It was causing major issue (crashing, frozen, block of the search bar, no response after clicking any link from my bookmarks, ...). Ok, I am still using FFox 45.9 ESR because it the latest available for my old mac, but the problem is not r...

Re: XSS exception at blogger
Actually I don't know because now everything is working properly (I have add both the blogger and google.it exceptions to the XSS rule). I am still using 5.0.8.1 because it is the latest available for my FFoxbarbaz wrote:Do you still need the XSS exceptions with NoScript latest development build 5.0.9rc2?

Re: XSS exception at blogger
Sorry to say that none of the exceptions works for google. Tried each of them alone or together and still, after restarting FF, I got the xss alert.
No prob with blogger.
Should I rename somehow the above instructions for Google?

Re: XSS exception at blogger
thanks, I'll add the exception rule in the early afternoon. I don't know if this matters but I've just realized that I got the XSS alert if, and only if, I am logged to google (and therefore to Blogger). Meaning that if I open the page google.it as a guest (unlogged), everything is ok. In the very s...

Re: XSS exception at blogger
Please check the Browser Console (Ctrl-Shift-J) when this issue happens and post here any messages related to NoScript. (related messages usually start with either "[NoScript" or "[ABE]"; if you don't know what's related, turn off CSS warnings and post everything else you see) t...

Re: XSS issue
nope. I can easily navigate throught the whole site even with the "alert" on. BTW, the alert is still there even after clicking the option "reload without protection" in the top bar menu. The same question applies to the apparent inefficacy of "trust the whole site" opt...

Re: news video blocked
as above.
Got it.
It is visualrevenue that needs to be whitelisted. Apparently the "allow all page" didn't work completely.

Re: news video blocked
Actually the only Adblocker installed on Firefox is Adguard that is disabled for the whole site.
I don't have anything else installed on FF that could explain the block.
