Re: Any hope for a port to Edge?
I have been trying Edge on my Windows 10 machine of late and i think it's a pretty good browser. It does not yet support extensions but I was wondering, is the browser engine suitable for NoScript? I like Firefox but I think it's fair to say that for many people, NoScript is the reason why we can't ...

Re: Next-generation "Javascript" will be binary code
So what does that mean for the future of an addon like NoScript? Will it still exist in say, 5 years from now?

Re: Noscript Whitelist (question)
Thanks for your reply. Very appreciated. How big are you planning to make your whitelist? At this rate I may have a thousand entries in 3-4 years. I am always on Google Search and discover new sites almost every day, I whitelist the necessery scripts for proper functionallity on the websites that I ...

Noscript Whitelist (question)
Hi,
I've read that having a huge NoScript whitelist can slow down the addon over time, is it true?
Does the amount of whitlisted websites affect the performance of NoScript at some point?
Thanks.

Re: Is NoScript lightweight?
Thanks for your answer. Well, after using it for some time now it is definitly lighter than Adblock Plus. Doesn't slow Firefox start up (maybe ~1.5 second) so it's great. NoScript doesn't need to rewritte webpages in RAM to remove the ads like Adblocks. It's juts block all scripts. Period. It's a dr...

Re: Using NoScript with '' Temporarily Allow Top-Level Domai
I have not noticed that.. guess you browse a very different set of sites from me... Blocking top-level javascripts by default breaks nearly every sites I visit. I understand that's the whole point of NoScript but since Top-Level Domain is a must for my web activities - that I will allow them in eve...

Re: Using NoScript with '' Temporarily Allow Top-Level Domai
Thanks for your replies. At this point I will stick with NoScript's ''Temporarily Allow Top-Level Domain'' on. Maybe I am looing in security but then the web is a very dull place without the top-level javascripts enabled these days... What difference would it made if I enable them one by one anyway?...

Using NoScript with '' Temporarily Allow Top-Level Domain''
Hi, I find NoScript to be too much of a pain in the a** to set up on a site by site basis, the only way I can use this addon is by temporarily allowing top-level domain. In this way, it's much easier to handle and saves me a lot of time, since the majority of websites out there require top level jav...

Is NoScript lightweight?
Hi, I wanted to know how NoScript compares with other ''blockers'' like Adblock Plus, Ghostery or BluHell Firewall in terms of memory usage and size. Is NoScript considered ligthweight? I ask this because I intend to run this addon on a system with limited ressources (Pentium 4, 2GB RAM). Does a gro...
