Re: Noscript 10.1.1 and accounts.google.com issue

The issue with doing that is that it will also throw out my 2 Factor Authentication code cookie which I have told it to trust a particular computer. The result is that every time I log into my Google accounts on that machine I have to enter the 2FA code plus username and password.

Noscript 10.1.1 and accounts.google.com issue

I have been using Google Chrome which allows one to block javascript on a site to site basis. This came in handy when Google decided to do away with the Keep Me Logged In option on their login screen and switched over to always keeping you logged into Google unless you specifically used the Logout f...

split from t=20521

Had to revert back to 2.9.0.14 for another issue as well. This one is regarding NoScript and Lastpass 4.1.32

Re: Double noscript entries in FFox 45.0.1 x64

This is the screen shot of the phantom noscript that remained and could not be deleted. Clicking on Undo did not do anything and clicking on Restart restarted firefox but it still showed up with the same options. http://i.imgur.com/NWgOoeg.png I solved the issue by closing Firefox down, renaming the...

[RESOLVED] Double noscript entries in FFox 45.0.1 x64

I noticed that in my Firefox 45.0.1 x64 had two entries in the extension list. One showed that Noscript was to be installed and the other showed that NoScript was suppose to be uninstalled on the next reboot. Rebooting solved nothing they still showed up in the extension list. I managed to uninstall...

Re: Nocript prevents Lastpass Vault menu from functioning

Well I have the following whitelisted:

dslreports.com
dslr.net
cloudflare.com

and I still can not get the speedtest to work. I still see their pop up showing up. I can not whitelist the subdomains you indicated since the main domains are already whitelists

Re: Nocript prevents Lastpass Vault menu from functioning

I found out why I enabled the Cascade option. If you go to http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest with NoScript enabled that is what their popup tells you to do in order to run the speedtest: Adblock, or NOSCRIPT - is blocking access to remote IPs (not scripts). The test needs to download from several ...

Re: Nocript prevents Lastpass Vault menu from functioning

Hmm. That would certainly explain why lastpass.com is not showing up on the menu. I would certainly recommend disabling cascaded permissions if you can. They should never be *necessary*, only convenient in some cases. However, if enabling cascade actually breaks the vault when it would otherwise wo...

Re: Nocript prevents Lastpass Vault menu from functioning

But the option to allow lastpass.com isn't showing up? Can you enable the Full Addresses option and check again? What if you Mark lastpass.com as Untrusted, then go to the Untrusted submenu again and allow it from there? Before going any further did you see my post of Nov 12th: I found that the Acc...

Re: Nocript prevents Lastpass Vault menu from functioning

I have lastpass.com in the whitelist so under Untrusted there is the option to Mark Lastpass.com as untrusted and that is it. If you have the option to Mark lastpass.com as Untrusted, then it is not on your whitelist. You would instead have the option to Forbid lastpass.com, and only after forbiddi...

Re: Nocript prevents Lastpass Vault menu from functioning

I found that the Account Settings link works if I uncheck "Cacasde top document's permissions to third party scripts" under the Trusted tab. I believe that needed to be checked on for another website to work properly.

Re: Nocript prevents Lastpass Vault menu from functioning

I think we are talking about two different issues here. My issue is concerning the "Account Settings" menu item which is displayed when one selects LastPass Vault while I am already authenticated with LastPass. Nope, we're definitely talking about the same link. I go to my vault (either t...

Re: Nocript prevents Lastpass Vault menu from functioning

When you say it works are you talking about the Account Settings option in the left hand menu in LastPass Vault when you select My LastPass Vault in the Firefox extension? Yep (personally I access the vault via Ctrl+Alt+H; same thing). With https://lastpass.com allowed, the Account Settings link wo...
