Re: NoScript 5.1.7 in FF56

As I wrote in post #7.. ..after 5.1.5 was auto-updated into 5.1.7, I also got the "all white" NoScript issue, and fixed it by manually installing 5.1.6 and turning off auto-updates. Today, however, I read this..: I ended up getting 5.1.7 working.. ..and so I wanted to try to get 5.1.7 work...

Re: NoScript 5.1.7 in FF56

Me too! ;) NoScript 5.1.7 on Firefox 56.0.2 is not seeing any of my saved NoScript settings. By using about:config I confirm that all the settings are still there; capability.policy.maonoscript.sites still contains all my white-listed sites, noscript.untrusted all my untrusted ones, etc etc. It's ju...

Re: ALL pages are blocked until manual reload in Firefox

Well.. it's not "gone" (as in "it's fixed").. ;) I know a workaround, which keeps the issue from not appearing, so it's not bothering me: As long as I do not both disable NoScript's "ABE", enable "FlashGot" (or any other "non-Multiprocess-Windows-compatib...

Re: ALL pages are blocked until manual reload in Firefox

Finally! :D I think I have been able to create a step-by-step that can show the issue! 1) Install Firefox (or create a new profile) 2) Run Firefox first time. 3) Install " NoScript Security Suite ", and click " Restart now.. " 4) Go to NoScript Options .. 4a) In " General &q...

Re: ALL pages are blocked until manual reload in Firefox

If you use x64, then why not use x64 Firefox as well? Should be faster/ more optimized. I was kinda worried about compatibility with the addons, but, the day after I wrote my previous post, I learned that it was only the PLUGINS (i.e. Flash), and not the EXTENSIONS that this applied to. I did not u...

Re: ALL pages are blocked until manual reload in Firefox

Hello friend, which operating system do you use? Can you try the 64 bit version? How do I check whether multi-process is enabled in Firefox? Can you try version 55 beta? I'm using the same version of NoScript, 5.0.8.1. Can you find out which addons cause this bug? So if you have multi-process mode ...

Re: ALL pages are blocked until manual reload in Firefox

I just wanted to thank you guys for this post. I've been dealing with this for almost a year and just found this. I had many of the extensions mentioned in this thread... I think BehindTheOverlay was another one as I had to disable many extensions. So, thank you! I think this bug is fixed in NoScri...

Re: ALL pages are blocked until manual reload in Firefox

Found 3 others that I need to disable... Don't know why the amount of addons goes up that I need to disable.. This also happened to me! One day, the " FlashGot " and " SearchPreview " add-ons were compatible with e10s.. ..but then, the next day, I also needed to disable those 2 ...

Re: ALL pages are blocked until manual reload in Firefox

I am sorry I didn't start to look at this earlier! For some strange reason, I thought that "e10s" was about "localized versions" of Firefox/extensions, so, when you wrote about "e10s", I just thought " ..that's not relevant to me, since I only use the en-US versio...

Re: ALL pages are blocked until manual reload in Firefox

Regarding the " e10s "..: YES! It IS related to that..! :D To start with the conclusion, it seems that.. ..when one of the e10s- non -compatible Firefox add-ons are loaded, this will block any "firefox.exe" child processes, and then, those issues with NoScript will show up. I am ...

Re: ALL pages are blocked until manual reload in Firefox

Hmm.. I think I maybe have solved the riddle for my own pc, at least. It seems that Firefox - without any extensions - will start up two processes when it is run. One is the "parent" process; "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" The other will be a "child&quo...

Re: ALL pages are blocked until manual reload in Firefox

I also experience this issue, but just for some sites, As an example, it happens with the site https://www.dnb.no/ The scripts will work (be temporarily allowed) if I just click this link.. - however, if I either use my bookmarked version of that page, or, manually type in ALL of the URL (including ...

Re: Ads for x-ware on noscript site?

So, I first started with good, old VirusTotal. By pasting in the last URL I got, the one which actually downloaded the file from freestockyard.. http://i.imgur.com/O438xBy.png ..I first got a result that showed that 2 / 58 engines meant the site itself was "Malware site" http://i.imgur.com...

Re: Ads for x-ware on noscript site?

But first, there is one other thing: PE Explorer shows that this file is signed; that Comodo Code Signing CA 2 has issued a certificate to a company called "Bestop-app " located in Tel-Aviv, IL. http://i.imgur.com/puMQbC1.png Now, I think the reason why the MD5 / SHA1 / SHA-256 hash search...

Re: Ads for x-ware on noscript site?

A quick view in PE Explorer showed the BSS section, indicating that this was Borland Pascal / Delphi, and by looking at the DATA section I confirmed that this was indeed Inno Setup. http://i.imgur.com/Vz48OUb.png However, using innounp.exe to try to unpack it, gave me only two small files; http://i....
