Re: something really nasty happen to code when you post it here (split from t=26348)

It should be fixed now, test for the reduced test case.
Testing here:

Re: NoScript license partially conflicts with NSCL license

So is NoScript overdue for being officially relicensed to GPLv3 or GPLv3+? Yes it is. Good timing, though, since I was in the process of tidying up NSCL's (missing) licensing boilerplate using the REUSE tools and specifications. I guess I'll take the momentum and go through NoScript as well...

Re: InternalError: Too much recursion

I'd probably prefer you to review my incoming commit. Thanks! And here it is . I've removed the patch accumulator because I couldn't figure out any way to make it work with the Chromium injection code path, which is unavoidably stateless. Of course this means that every patchWindow call creates to ...

Re: InternalError: Too much recursion

BTW, I'm almost done with my version (which fixes a couple of issues with your latest iteration, e.g. only the first patchWindow() call gets to actually modify the window), so in this instance I'd probably prefer you to review my incoming commit. Thanks!

Re: InternalError: Too much recursion

You mean something like this? Not sure why, but something really nasty happen to code when you post it here :( Especially interpolated strings with variables inside get really messed up. Could you please send me as a text file or a link pastebin somewhere on the web, if you really prefer not to cre...

Re: InternalError: Too much recursion

Thank you for examining this and trying to patch it! I don't feel comfortable with the two-steps approach, though: I fully understand it rationale, but unless applying all the patches in one shot at the right time can be automated and decoupled from NoScript's internal event firing machinery (which ...

Re: How to enable material-icons from fonts.googleapis.com?

It might be a bug in the checks which can be disabled by checking the "unrestricted CSS" capability.
Could you provide me with a page where it happens and the list of your permissions there?
Thanks.

Re: Noscript stopping Javascript from running

OK, another wild attempt: could you check, and possibly clear, any XSS customization from NoScript Options>Advanced.
Even better, could you please PM or email me your NoScript Options>Export file?

Re: Noscript stopping Javascript from running

OK, nothing seems wrong in your console logs.
Notice that my bank's trading platform also uses a JPLN-launched Java app, and it works fine.
Could yo check whether using the "Disable all restrictions for this tab" button before launching it helps?

Re: Noscript stopping Javascript from running

Hi, could you please check the NoScript Options>Advanced>Debug setting, restart the browser, try to reproduce and check for any NoScript-related message either in the page console (ctrl+shift+K) or in the browser console (ctrl+shift+J)?

Thanks.

Re: NoSript on Edge

Unfortunately AFAIK there's nothing on Chrome as a "beta update channel", so installing a beta version is quite geeky and laborious and I must assume all the beta testing is done by myself. On Firefox, on the other hand, I can count on thousands of users which are willing auto-updated to the latest ...

Re: Per-Site Permissions

Temporary permissions shouldn't even ever be written to disk, so they would just disappear with the volatile memory allocated to the main Firefox process, when it exits.
How do you restart Firefox?
Does the "Revoke temporary permissions" button on the top left of the NoScript popup work as expected?
