Re: Asking about NoScript json options xssBlockUnscannedPOST and xssScanRequestBody

Could it be those options were related to the workaround for https://bugzil.la/1532530 that was nuked in 10.6.2 stable? If so do they still have some effect if left alone? After looking at the commit which removed the workaround , I am quite sure that these options don't have any effect anymore. No...

Re: NoScript Not Working 69 Nightly

Updated: FF, 20190603160429, no change NoScript: 10.6.3rc7, no change Just tried 20190603160429, both with 10.6.2 and 10.6.3rc7 work for me: the three sites you've mentioned (msn, yahoo and youtube) are displayed correctly, no matter whether the domains are individually TRUSTED, or the restrictions...

Re: (classic) Does "removeSMILKeySniffer" feature still exist?

The feature was removed as soon as the underling bug was fixed in Firefox (so no false sense of security).
But yes, it should go away if I ever release another classic.

Re: "Server not found" on https://noscript.net/getit

It seems your DNS doesn't resolve noscript.net, and your network can't reach secure.informaction.com. Are you using any weird proxy or VPN? Does changing your network (e.g. tethering your mobile network or switching your Wi-Fi access point) change anything? Are other devices on your network able to ...

Re: "Server not found" on https://noscript.net/getit

So you can't even open https://noscript.net or it's the direct download link that fails?

What output do these two commands in a terminal show?

Code: Select all

ping noscript.net

ping secure.informaction.com

Re: Firefox deactivates NoScript...and calls it Legacy

Well, like a dumb-a$$ :( , I didn't write down the original value. I think it was 12xxx but am not sure, so I just entered "12000". Could somebody please tell me what the original value is? 21600 Or, as with any about:config preference, you can just use the "Reset" command (context menu item) to re...

Re: Firefox deactivates NoScript...and calls it Legacy

Already did that (just changed seconds to 1, studies was set to true already) but still waiting for plugins to come back =S. Already restarted Firefox like 4 times and restarted pc once If the hotfix is already shown in about:studies but still no extensions, either you removed them while trying to ...

Re: Firefox deactivates NoScript...and calls it Legacy

If you're experiencing this right now on Firefox, do this for the hotfix to immediately apply (it happened to me minutes ago on my main profile ): Open about:config Turn app.shield.optoutstudies.enabled to true (if false) Turn app.normandy.run_interval_seconds to 1 As soon as you can see all your ad...

Re: Firefox deactivates NoScript...and calls it Legacy

They've started deploying the hotfix. Notice that if you're the typical NoScript user, you probably have Firefox Preferences>Privacy & Security>Allow Firefox to install and run studies disabled, but it's currently (temporarily) required for the hotfix to work. If you're a Tor Browser user, you cann...

Re: Firefox deactivates NoScript...and calls it Legacy

Latest update A Firefox release has been pushed — version 66.0.4 on Desktop and Android, and version 60.6.2 for ESR. This release repairs the certificate chain to re-enable web extensions, themes, search engines, and language packs that had been disabled ( Bug 1549061 ). Check the Tor Blog for more...
