Re: INCORRECT ACCOUNT NUMBER IN NON-PAYPAL DONATION STICKY

The object of the post has been achieved.
I guess the OP will learn eventually - when somebody can be bothered.

So long, investigators

Re: Where is the partial icon?

but wants to know which domain is linking to the script. For example: Am I in the ballpark? If the OP clears that up for you, you can suggest JSView I guess :| Maybe explain you gotta allow the secondary domains to discover their scripts? NS can't do magic that guesses scripts that don't get pointe...

What do you mean by "dependent"?
In the domain's own libraries, or something else?

Re: Where is the partial icon?

OK, because of the IFRAME? [...] With IFRAMES blocked an "Allowed" site still is not "allowed" till the placeholder is clicked, thereby facilitating the actual Allow. And with that the icon changes to reflect that status. Is that it? Sure is confusing? My config behaves this exa...

Charley, regardless of when, where and what title it is posted under, we address every issue. Thank you for bumping it Understood. No criticism intended. Just trying to add to efficiency. I'll ignore thread titles from now on - - ehh, they're all "this Fx with NS doesn't work" after all. ...

Re: INCORRECT ACCOUNT NUMBER IN NON-PAYPAL DONATION STICKY

In the interests of transparency, because a forum for a security app should demonstrate the highest trust links, as in the WOT model at least, this message should be stickied in all forums and any users who have donated via deposits to it may then add their trust signature to the narration: ie, they...

For the impatient cross-platform user

To Synchronise **only your whitelist** (which includes your "Untrusted" list). Use the IMPORT/EXPORT feature of NS Step 1 EXPORT THE PREFERRED WHITELIST (WHICH INCLUDES "UNTRUSTED') TO WHERE YOU CAN UPLOAD IT TO MULTIPLE MACHINES NS Options/Prefs > Whitelist tab, choose "Export&...

Re: How about synchronisation of Noscript list with multiple PCs

The sticky post is only for Windoze, is too long, too many words, and doesn't generalise for the average user. A user so inexperienced to need a recipe like the sticky post really shouldn't be editing their profile at all. Heres my heavy edit of the sticky post. It's for evaluation and the developer...

Re: NS menu won't disappear after allowing a script

It wasn't that, I just use the right-click myself and have done it so long that I have become too accustomed to it and forget the left-click option. Anyway, thanks for catching that and I'll remember to consider that next time, even though I don't use that myself. It wasn't you I was singling out m...

No worries mate.
That "Sticky Menu" seems to confuse a lot of the rusted-on users who started with the extension when only the auto-hiding one was offered.
Me? I'm new to NS only this year.

BTW is that whole USMC id a joke? Or propaganda?

Re: NS menu won't disappear after allowing a script

Is this a bug, or is this built in behavior that allows you to block/allow multiple scripts w/o having to click the NS logo each time? Trav It's by design http://noscript.net/faq#qa5_5 If you prefer to have the menu auto-hide after an allow, then use right-click instead of left (or Ctrl-click if yo...

I read the instructions and was confused, I searched around and found some more instructions for creating a new Profile and deleting the old but I could not understand most of what was written, I'm old and new to computers ;) So, I tried the long and winding road: [...]snip • Had a cup of coffee an...
